Through searching Yelp I decided to contact an Accountant to help me resolve a time sensitive audit…read moreof my 2016 tax return. The IRS audit which included penalties and interest was substantial. Laura Silva was the accountant I worked with on my case. Laura worked diligently for me communicating with the IRS. Through her communication with them I was able to provide the missing documentation needed for their acceptance. This all took place during the government shutdown also, I just received a letter yesterday stating they accepted my provided information and my case is closed. Through this ordeal I was stressed out and Laura was so professional and very certain we would be alright . I want all readers to know this company is very qualified and professional to help resolve outstanding issues you may have with the IRS. I totally recommend Laura Silva, CPA to handle your tax returns and all your accounting needs. Thank You, Laura! Paul R."

We have a fairly complex tax situation ( multiple homes, multiple businesses) and generally are in a challenging tax situation. Laura's knowledge helped me with a tax error from a prior provider and saved me over 40k! She is always available for question and just a kind business woman. She is a credit to the community and excellent in her field. Her rate is very reasonable and this year she identified valid deductions from my rental home I hadn't even considered- just from a conversation! I had three states to file plus federal taxes, a cross country move, W2's from 2 different states, stock sale and a closing of a 401k plan. Needless to say I was rather worried I would owe a huge sum of money. Stanley was referred to me by a co-worker that has trusted him with her business and personal finances for years. I made an appointment using the handy online form and quickly received a response from a friendly receptionist. ( I note friendly because most receptionists I've dealt with at various places in the valley are cold and unfriendly.) I was able to get the appointment time I requested. The location is easy to find using google maps and there is plenty of parking. Stanley explained his fees and the process as well as software they use for their tax services. Our taxes were completed and we arranged to pick them up. Signed where it was noted and we were off! He did a great job and found us some deductions we were not expecting. Everyone at the office we worked with was pleasant and quick to respond via phone and email. Thank you! We will be back again!

I followed this up with a complaint to CTEC (California Tax Education Council) and IRS, I hope action takes its course. What other information is this man advising his clients to falsify?
