I was looking to get a trim with highlights for the summer. I called to schedule an appointment the morning I went to get the work done and was so happy they could fit me in! The salon was so cute! Clean and very fresh looking. They offered to take my coat for me as soon as I arrived and the front desk attendant was very accommodating and friendly at check in and check out. Bonnie took care of me, offered me a refreshment, and took her time with the work. She listened to what I wanted and we discussed what would look best based on my coloration. No hard sell - "I live right around the corner - I'm available anytime!!!" Yea - that didn't work out so well. We agreed on a time. The back was to be tapered inward. It's not. She left long layers in back and clumps from another bad cut I'd had elsewhere. Plus the side was not to be cut in a step. It looks like a bad Joe Dirt gone wrong. Pic had sides at an angle. One side has section of no layers and the other side has layers. Just awful. The conversation was strained and she was extremely argumentative. One of the worst places.

In all my years of spray tanning, nobody has ever topped Evelyn's work. I go to her because she prides herself on providing quality service. And it shows. My appointment was for Saturday at 2:30. Parking is available at Aldersgate across the street from the salon, but luckily I found street parking. If you're visiting the salon on a weekday, definitely park at Aldersgate. As always, Evelyn was very thorough with me. She explained what she was doing when she was doing it, and made sure the tan was flawless once she finished spraying me. Evelyn provides an exfoliant, aftercare instructions, and lotion to take home with you to use after your shower. The salon itself is cozy and quiet; the perfect addition to the Willow Grove area. Besides spray tans, Evelyn also does sugaring and lash extensions. It's not often that I get spray tans, but I will always refer Evelyn to my family and friends.
