I got a gift certificate for Mother's Day and I decided to use it today. I walked in and the owner/ manager showed me to a chair and ran water in the bowl. He asked me if the water temp was good and I said yes. That was the last time anyone spoke to me until I left. I tried to chat with the lady doing my pedicure but all she did was speak in Vietnamese to the other employee. I went to get my nails done a few days ago and I was not happy with my results at all! First the lady was rude and seemed as if she was in a rush to get my nails done! She kept hitting my cuticles with the filer which left small cuts on my skin I told her it hurt but she kept doing it I then told her how I wanted my nails which she refused because she said it took to much time but if I'm paying for it it should have gotten done the customer is always right so after my nails dried I realized she had polish on my skin that had hardened my nails look horrible smh I will no longer give them my money and to add insult to injury she charged me $45 and it's not even what I asked for! They need to be shut down and retrained on customer etiquette and how to do nails period! read more

NEVER GOING AGAIN!! Me and my friend got the exact same nail set done same shape same everything and hers was 20 dollars more than mine was! And they speak horribly about their costumers. It also seems as though they don't have much experience, she not only didn't know how to draw a flame but she didn't even know what it was. My nails weren't like I told her I wanted them. At first me and my Sister were skeptical about this place because of the terrible reviews, but we went anyway just to see how it was, and it was actually very nice. We really enjoy the job that she did, and we will definitely be going back! We would definitely recommend this salon. It's been years since I had acrylic nails and was excited to finally wear them. Well I wasn't surprised how pushy and obnoxious the man working with me was and was too comfortable in occupation. He was not listening at all how liked mine done. The solar was all wrong and instead of fixing natural nails he had to paint over them which was still okay. But 3 days later my nails were bubbled at the cuticles and when I went back for repair he grinded his nail tool over my polish and glued it. It was a AwFul By the end of the first week my nails looked old and bland. I removed the polish and forgot about the solar nails under them that looked like a pink infected color. I would give 0 * if there was an option to. Never going back to that nail SHOP. I PAID TOP DOLLAR AND received dollar store press on nail work! I am the California Nails owner's daughter. This nail shop is mostly a busy place. We are very diligent & absolutely get our jobs done here. We make few minor mistakes here & there sometimes, but we can have you leave our shop satisfied. We rarely have complaints. I mean not everything/everyone is always perfect. Please be understanding! Our people are hilarious & has a good customer service. We have a lot of loyal customers coming back to our shop 24/7. If they love us, you'd probably too! Oh! If you have health problems or anything, I highly suggest you to think twice & be careful or warn us. For designs, you can ask for a specific design you want. Last time ever going! I took my mom to get her nails done for her birthday and we walked in the owner was talking on the phone on the couch and we stood there for a good minute. As if they didn't want our business for one. Then a lady did my nails and was done within 10 mins. Then the owner came to paint my nails and seriously the worst manicure I ever had. Very over priced for the worst job ever. The calac that I had on my nails only lasted me 4-5 days!!! And that's suppose to last at least 2 weeks!! So awful! read more

I now have a scar in the back of my ankle, also my best friend now has a fungus that has left her foot raw and continuously peeling! The designs here are TERRIBLE! Absolute worst nail experience ever!! Went in to refill solar nails- ground nails down to the point that my fingers hurt afterwards. Wanted white tips- lady "misunderstood me" and didn't put white tips on. When i asked her to do, she griped me out for not telling her" next time you should tell me before "etc , in front of other customers. Overcharged , 6 dollars to paint on tips?
