I can confidently say signing her up was one of the best decisions we made for her. She has grown immensely in her confidence. Her school life has improved. Her focus has improved. Guido's has helped shape and build her to become a strong, confident young lady. I'm excited to see her continue to grow. The program is very hands on and I love the set up of the structure. The program allows you to attend as many scheduled classes as you'd like in the week. We always strive to attend at least two classes a week, but try to take her more often is possible. All of the instructors are excellent and have very unique characteristics they bring to each session. Shihan is always around and available to offer any assistance needed for the children or the parents. We had a school situation with our daughter that popped up. I spoke with Shihan about the situation and asked if he could speak with my daughter and he did. It was the perfect conversation she needed to hear from an amazing role model to help guide her back to the right behavior. We are so thankful for Guido's and I'm literally counting down the days until my youngest turns 3 and we can sign her up as well. Thank you Guido's team!

I've been a student of martial arts for 22 years and an instructor for about 12 years. I was…read moreSensei Wael's student for almost eight years, until age and injuries forced me to stop. I can honestly say that Wael is the best instructor I have ever had. His martial arts knowledge is encyclopedic, and he is infinitely patient with students, while always trying to come up with new, creative ways to teach. He currently holds three black belts in Kokodo Jujitsu, Shorin-Ryu Kempo, and Hammerhead Hapkido, but that doesn't begin to describe his expertise. He has also become proficient in Silat and Pekiti-Tirsia Kali, and has studied Shotokan Karate, Hwrangdo, Jeet Kune Do, and Aikido. To top it off, although Wael is an extremely peaceful person, in years past he had many violent street encounters and is well-versed in practical self-defense skills. He also is constantly pushing himself to learn more, and has, at his own expense, attended Silat and Jujitsu seminars in various parts of the country and abroad in order to increase his body of knowledge. I learned so much from Wael that it is hard to really express it in a limited space. I struggled with martial arts for years, and often felt uncoordinated and ignorant. Under Wael's guidance, principles and techniques came together for me, and he truly expanded my knowledge and skill in ways I never dreamed could happen. Hammerhead Hapkido, which is Wael's synthesis of Hapkido, Silat and Jujitsu, is a demanding, but practical and endlessly fascinating martial art. When people ask me about what martial art I would recommend, I always encourage them to try Wael and Hammerhead Hapkido.
