EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL…read more The owners of this studio HAD been very accepting of my child who had just begun taking taekwondo lessons for the first couple of weeks, but the sparring equipment that they supplied continuously fell off and was poor quality, but I figured "whatever, they're supplying it for free". I noticed a lot of the other kids had their own sparring equipment so I asked another parent and she told me I could order it off Amazon. I ordered new wrist and shinguards off of Amazon but I figured I could continue using the body guards that they already had because it rarely came loose. When I brought my kid back the next lesson, they owner sat all of the kids down and went on a long rant about how rude it was to buy equipment online and not through them, and how it was disrespectful to continue using the other equipment that they provided. My kid was really upset because they were obviously being singled out, and it wasn't even their fault! I didn't even know that they sold equipment, and I just couldn't keep using the cheap and old equipment that they had provided since it was affecting my kid's ability to spar. That being said, if they had a problem with how I spent MY money they should've talked to me privately! Not yell at my child in front of the whole class! Horrible experience, we are never going back.

I took a class yesterday with Joni(?), and it was challenging, but felt so good. With the kettlebells, you're really working the posterior chain, and I can already feel a difference in strength in my hamstrings, glutes, and lower back extensors; my back feels strengthened and the frequency of my low back pain has surely decreased. I'm loving the 5:45 class, as I can get back home after work to change, and head to a workout. I never feel like going after work, but am always so glad I did. Ended up doing a class yesterday and burned 614 calories (529 active calories) in 45 minutes. Felt deflated, but so accomplished after a good workout.

She fell in love with this gym and the great people there and has been attending ever since. I have taken a few classes and attended their special events. When she started leading a KB/TRX workout on Monday nights in November I have begun attending weekly or twice weekly. This is really a nice gym, clean, organized and everyone is friendly. The classes are not crowded and you receive individulized instruction and positive encouragement during each class. They offer more than just KB and TRX and host lots of great events.
