Wow it's been years since I came here. I remember getting season passes when it was Raging waters. They have cool season pass options. I came as a buddy for my friend's birthday, she got a season pass and was able to invite us for a cheaper price than a day pass. Definitely recommend doing that if you want to host a party. Some of the rides were closed down but a good chunk of the good ones were open. My all time favorites are Dragons Den, Barracuda Blaster, the Serpentines (do the yellow, it's the best), shotgun falls, and the Great White Shark. They have you remove slippers, glasses/goggles, and you have to hold it while going down the slides. Food is sooo expensive. And basic. But for the convenience of not having to leave it's better than nothing. HOWEVER they were very generous with water, they give it out in tall soda cups. Also, DO NOT bother with the salad. It's like a Safeway or Costco salad kit. We got dippn dots but they were in the packet. And also got Dole whip. When I was a kid my family would bring food and we would eat it outside, easy to return back inside, you just get a stamp.

Rented a cabana by the wave pool and it was the best. It came with a table and 4 chairs, two lounge chairs, a locker for you valuables and mini cooler. Very shady and worth the money. My family and I went in on a Sunday and it wasn't terribly packed but still a lot of foot traffic. The water slides were so much fun! Wait time of no more than 10 mins. Definitely check it out for a fun day in the sun with the family.

Came on a Tuesday in July, no lines and everything was pretty much open except for some rides off to the side. it literally just had a name change nothing at all changed.. we bought tickets online which saves you some money.. the bathrooms were clean, my complaint is you can't rinse off no more the showers are not in use. Also the lawn is so dry, you would think before opening they would've cleaned that up.. all the money people spend clean it up no one wants to step on dry grass.. there was so many birds and squirrels.. we didn't try any of the food shacks but there are a few and they also sell beer. I'd come back honestly it's not bad but clean up the lawn.

Let's be honest--this is still Raging Waters, but it looks like they've really cleaned up the place. Calibunga was a pleasant experience, and here's how it went down. The entire park feels refreshed with new paint jobs here and there, making it look much better than before. All your old-time favorites are still here, like the Endless River, Shotgun Falls, the Great White Shark slide, and more. The three main slides now have new colors, giving them a fresh look. However, some slides are still not open, suggesting that this might have been somewhat of a soft opening. The staff was friendly, and the lifeguards were attentive. The food options are new and look decent--I saw pizzas and fries being delivered to cabanas quite often. The cost of admission is $49, or $39 if you buy it online ahead of time. Overall, the park now has more of an amusement park vibe, and you can tell they're planning to continue expanding. I see a lot of potential here, and it was a good time.

Was an amazing time. Went for my step dad work picnic and my boys had the time of there lives everything was perfect.

Very disappointing experience. Most of the rides were closed, including the wave pool, which was one of the main reasons we came. The restrooms were disgusting dirty floors, no toilet paper, and barely cleaned. For the price they charge, this park is not worth it. It felt unprepared and poorly maintained. Won't be coming back anytime soon.

Don't let the negative reviews stop you from enjoying the park. Yes not much has changed from it was Ragging waters. I've been there many times through the years. Shoot we had our senior trip there in 1988! Yes it's run by a bunch of teens and young adults. Yes not all the slides are open yet. Yes it's water park prices for the food. Not Disney prices. The park was clean, well organized, lots of employees, the fries were very crispy and oh so good. Went on a Monday plenty of open chairs, lines were not long Life is what you make of it people can always find something to complain about

There are a few fun tube waterslides as well for older children and adults. A fun place for a birthday party!!…read more It sucks when my daughter's birthday is around the same time I have to prepare for the new school year. It's such a stressful time of the year! That's why I'm just writing this review two months later.... My daughter had a field trip here at summer camp. Since she enjoyed it so much, it gave me an idea for a birthday party with her friends. I'm glad they had a website that made it easy and convenient to book a party. It was cheaper than Cowabunga Water Park (or whatever that took over Raging Waters). This park is smaller, so it was easier for two adults to watch six kids roam around. It has two or three big water slides, a lazy river, and a pool. Enough to keep them busy for four to five hours. The birthday package I chose included entrance tickets, a pizza slice, a drink, and a voucher for Dippin' Dots for each kid. There's a restaurant on-site, therefore, it was convenient to get more food for the kids, like french fries and nachos. The premium cabana was the perfect size for the kids to hang out and eat. A host was available to help when needed during the celebration. Overall, it was a great venue! Organizing a party can be stressful. However, this venue lessened my anxiety. The kids and their parents were grateful. It was also a fantastic way to celebrate the end of their summer vacation.

I wanted to experience all the rides, food, games, the vibes and much more, all once again. I have been coming to Great America for over 25 years and I have made many memories at the park. From first rides on Stealth, to Days of Thunder, to getting wet on Whitewater Falls. Of course, some of those rides are long gone and have been replaced by other attractions. My favorite roller coaster there is actually Patriot. It is a simple floorless coaster that use to be the standup coaster, Vortex. I like how there are many rides very close to each other and you are just a few feet away from food and drinks in every corner. There are some days though where the lines move painfully slow. I wish the staff would consider optimizing the loading and unloading process so that wait times are more bearable. Other than that, everything else is good. I do hope someone or even the City of Santa Clara can sweep in and save Great America for future generations. If we lose Great America, we lose a community gathering spot for picnics, attractions, waterpark fun, concerts and so much more.
