They dealt with the insurance company, which was a promising idea because when I was trying to deal with them it was, well, let's say heated. Auto Insurance Companies would prefer you go to junkyards for replacement parts, even though my car was only 7 months old, and Automotive Unlimited obviously takes pride in their work and helped inform the Insurance Company that wasn't going to happen. They were good with updates on parts with the supply chain issues because of the pandemic. Getting the estimate was so thorough, explaining what would need to be replaced, taking a lot of photos, and informing me of the areas they weren't sure of until they pulled damaged parts off to see what needed to be done that we couldn't see. The safety sensors work perfectly again, which is a relief. I'll just say I didn't expect the process to go so smoothly after I spent a few weeks working with the insurance company. It was a relief and seriously, their work is excellent and they made the experience easy. I trust them completely.

They got me in right away, worked closely with my insurance, and I got daily texts with the updated status of my car, whether or not they were on track, and when I could expect to pick it up. Chad contacted me personally when I had a question about some of the work. When I went to pick it up, the car looked beautiful and they had done detailing inside of the car...which let me tell you, was a job in and of itself after having toddler smeared pop tarts and fruit roll ups tucked into nooks and crannies. These guys are like Unicorns: they're pure pros -- and honest, to boot. My wife took our new (to us) 2002 Travel Supreme there on her way home from Seattle from picking it up. She picked it up in Seattle, WA and began driving back to the D.C. area, where we live. Somewhere around Devil's Tower, the "new" coach developed a windshield pop-out problem for which the 2001-2008 Travel Supremes are famous (infamous). The issue is one I knew about in advance, and so I wasn't surprised and I knew what had to be done. I'd planned to deal with it here, but the way things played out that wasn't an option. Now, having dealt with Precision Painting, I'm really glad the problem cropped up when it did! After checking the RV boards online -- see http://www.irv2.com/forums/f274/cross-bracing-windshield-in-a-travel-supreme-89247-5.html -- I decided to see if we could get into Precision Painting to get the requisite x-bracing work done. I wasn't optimistic, but I thought I'd try. To my utter amazement, they got my wife in -- in August, peak RV season -- the day she arrived in Bremen. She arrived after COB, but the shop manager came back & let her in the facility to park (camp) there overnight. Then, he & his crew showed up the next morning at 5 a.m. (!) and began working to get the job done and her back on the road. They treated her like she was their own wife, sister or daughter. With courtesy, respect and like a friend in from out of town. At the end, they presented us a bill that was half what it would have cost me to get the same work done on the east coast. And, from everything I've read about them in the RV forum for Travel Supremes, I know the work is done right, because they're experts at RVs and are known to have engineered a solution to this particular problem that works. In sum, they bent over backward, they got the job done and right and they charged me the same price they'd have charged if I made an appointment way in advance even thought they squeezed us in and worked around the clock to get the job done and my wife back on the road.
