I already don't trust body shops, this one tops them all as most untrusted. Had my car for a week no call I had to call them after 5 days. Front bumper, Fender, Headlight, typical cosmetic replacements almost exceeded $5,000 for what reason? I never received an estimate and was told over the phone my vehicle may be totaled due to the damage quoted. They then forced me to sign a document before handing me the key stating that they are not responsible for anything, and that if I didn't sign I would have to tow my car. My vehicle drove into that facility not sure what was taken off because I was never given a proper evaluation. At this point it's my responsibility if it's loose based on that document. Took my vehicle back in possession and ordered all the parts online shipped for $800 painted** and unfolded** cost me an extra $144 for shipping still less than $5,000. Not sure why the left all the marks all over my vehicle either but I hope it doesn't eat my paint. Invoice said to replace the trims and light for paint the hatch door . The never did, even when we discuss the repair process. They took all the shorcut to do a cheap and unprofessional job. Awful service awful tech work I'll write down the full terrible stressful experience in a comment if I can, but as a whole, the service is awful, uncommunicative and dismissive, you're promised a lot of things that never happen. Including updates (I never got any unless the insurance contacted them call me) or call backs from case agent, or contact from manager. The actual TECH WORK is awful and absentminded, the work done is completely half-assed by unskilled techs, & things are not checked or verified by your case agent. They'll waste your time and argue with you or give you BS excuses or half assed apologies and then do it again. They don't follow the caliber collision service commitment at all, it was 3 months of hassle and stress and mediocre service, lazy and messy techs, and what should have taken a few weeks took 3 months and 4 different attempts of me picking up my car (my time and fuel) just to show up and show them things that are improperly fixed - a girl with no mechanic or car knowledge. Not only was it an issue dealing with the service and communication, dealing with issues they created with the car rental they were covering, but with the actual repairs, multiple attempts at having them do the job properly, and then leaving my car off with issues it did not have before it arrived to them, issues I am currently still dealing with after finally picking up my car after 3 months of them having it. let's start with the fact that my accident happened in February, and the car still hasn't been properly fixed! I handed over the car on April 18, after 2 weeks they wrote to me that the car would be ready in 3 days, then they postponed it for another 2 days, and this went on for a whole month, meanwhile my wife had 2 children, and this car was hers, she had nowhere I couldn't move around because the children are very small 1 and 2 years old, and if you really need it, then just take away, which caused a lot of discomfort and indignation. I constantly asked the manager to write to me and not call me as I do not speak English. But she just called and even then 2 times for all the time and my wife was forced to call the central office to find out at least something about the car, but they left applications and said that the manager would definitely write to me, to which my manager at best could respond in 2-3 days! and then a miracle happened today, May 31, the manager calls me and says my car is ready. I told her that I was on a business trip and would come only next week, she insisted that my wife take the car. And she brought it to us in the community. When my wife saw the car, she was shocked: The distance between the body parts is different everywhere, on the right side of the hood there is an influx of paint in two places where the wings are connected to the hood in general fucked up! on the one hand, as if they were driving in with a foot, the paint chipped off a little, and on the other hand, the grate sticks out for what to fasten ... go ahead ... Fenders glued on!!!! Yes, you did not make a mistake on the glue !!! the radiator grill looks like it's been sprayed with silver spray paint.. I asked my manager Amanda and what about the headlights and the huge gap on the bumper on the left side? to which she said that the insurance refused them !!! On my subsequent call to the insurance company, it turned out that she was lying, they did not request repairs. And I also forgot to write that they painted the plastic in silver under the hood for me .... and I understand why, because terrible non-professionals work here who will do it very badly for nothing I need my car in the condition it was in, I don't have money to pay for a taxi, because he can only travel in this car with small children. If you want any sort of body work to look identical to the rest of the car, don't bother. They will paint your replacement panels the color the factory gives them and that's it, they don't do any sort of paint matching, it looks obvious that there was a repair done and they refuse to do anything about it. Their excuse is that it's how the paint sits on the steel and compared to plastic the color will come out differently. Some repair shops take the sample of the paint from near the replacement part and color match it from there and this place does not. Do not bring your car here if the job will need a panel replacement and repaint. The advisor and receptionist was nice and friendly though. read more

First of all the GM is rude as hell. He hung up on me in the middle of a phone call when im addressing my concerns of his lack of professionalism and responsibility he takes. He wants to blame his workers for not getting my windshield replaced when he was the only person i spoke to about it and he assured me id get a call within days. It has been weeks, the crack is getting bigger and bigger and there was other problems with my car that i didnt even chose to address bc i wanted to just drop the whole situation. All i asked is that they replaced the windshield THAT THEY BROKE ON THEIR OWNNNNNN. I could easily contact insurance and have it figured out today but that was never the issue. The issue is they think they can talk to me like a little girl and give me attitude when i have every right to complain. And on top of that they didnt want to take responsibility for the fact that my car was not being overseen properly. They claimed to have replaced my entire bumper brand new and its not even clipped into place. They claimed to have given me new lights, they werent even plugged in, which i can easily get ticketed for. Theres is random paint residue all over my leather seats and my windows dont close properly, NOT TO MENTION THEY SCRATCHED MY WINDOW TINTS AS WELL. So not only do i have to go and pay out of pocket for new tints but i have to find someone else to fix all of the new damages on my car. They were not helpful anytime i spoke to them, and when i show up in person at a time they told me to arrive the gm and all of the techs were suddenly missing. This is my second review and i have even written an email bc of the lack of professionalism on the gms behalf. I am not happy at all with the way he was speaking to me he didnt care about any of my concerns and this has gone on for the entire duration of the repair up until now weeks later and im still dealing with this. I have been very compliant and have even apologized to staff that i am still having to call about the same issue over and over again but no one seems to be hearing me out. Don't ever take any car to these people. Not only did a 3 week job turn it to a 3 month job. I was told by caliber my computer for my motor was shot and was caused by the accident. Come to find out they eventually took fault for the 2500 dollar error and paid but first tryed to blame me. Real professional huh? But wait it gets better. Couple months later I take it to tire plus and the technicians at tires plus could not believe how bad the workmanship was. Bolts that aren't the right size. Zip ties to hold the undermount covers. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. Want an honest review? This is it. I was rear ended and decided to take my car here to get it fixed through the insurance company. After they claimed to have "fixed" my car, I was getting water leaks through my trunk every time rain poured on my car or every time any water was poured on my car. Mold was starting to grow in my car, causing me to get sick from it and the smell was just terrible. My car seats were getting damp and disgusting as well. I took it back to them, they said they would need to do a water leak test. After the water leak test, they tried telling me that it was not coming from the trunk, rather it was the rear glass window (which they did not repair). Okay, clearly since I have never had this problem before the accident or never went to any shop or mechanic after the accident, it was bullshit. After bothering them about this, they just kept giving me the run around. Eventually, they called me saying that "everything is ready" for me and I just need to come drop off my car and pick up the rental. I go again, taking time out of my work day, only for the rep "Dumi" to tell me that his GM said they they needed to do another water test. This rep even told me that they would do a full interior detail once I told him about the mold and urgency of the situation. I put two and two together and realized that they were just toying with me. After being told that I was just needed to drop off the car and pick up the rental, I was now being told AGAIN that the water is not coming from the trunk. Alright fine, insurance company tells me I need to get a second opinion and get another water test done since Caliber is saying that it has nothing to do with the trunk. Go to a mechanic shop who gives me photo AND video proof that the water is coming through the brake light assembly and the trunk (which they supposedly replaced/repaired) For a place that claims to be a collision center, they sure didn't know how to properly repair my car or even know where the leak was coming from. Or, they just lied on purpose, thinking they could get away with not properly repairing my car. Throughout this whole process, what infuriated me the most was the manipulation and lies that were told. Why tell me that all I needed to do is drop off my car and pick up the rental and lie to me, telling me that you needed to conduct another water test? Why would I come TWICE to the shop just to get a water test done? I'm a single college student who works full time, I definitely had more important things to do than spend my time dealing with this shop, after already have experienced a traumatic car accident. I have never written a review before, good or bad, but I felt as if this needed to be done. Please beware of the lies and run around from this place. It is absolutely ridiculous and I would have rather chose a random local shop who valued integrity rather than this disappointment of a place. Attached is a picture of the mold when it first started growing in my car, the mechanic I went to also told me that there was mold in the trunk. I don't think they have HIGH SPEED balancing which is required for BMWs so the front end is not perfectly balanced. They were also not absolutely polite and courteous. read more

DO NOT USE CALIBER COLLISION at 2024 Wellfleet Ct in Orlando! I cannot stress this enough! You will be DISAPPOINTED. You will be ANGRY. You will be left with a BROKEN CAR! In February 2016 I was rear ended by a drunk driver. My car sustained significant damage to the rear and front. After working with the insurance company, Caliber Collision was chosen to do the repairs on my vehicle. The ANGER, DISBELIEF, and SHOCK they left me in should not happen when dealing with a professional business. Upon dropping off my car, I walked with an employee all around the vehicle marking what needed fixed. I left my car in their hands and awaited completion. When I was called that my car was ready, my boyfriend and I drove to pick it up immediately. The staff in the lobby were busy but we saw my car sitting out front. Being excited to finally have it fixed and back we started to look at it. IT WAS THE WORST CAR REPAIR I CAN IMAGINE!!!! The paint was not "blended"- it was OBVIOUS what parts of the car were new. The bumpers- BOTH FRONT AND BACK- were CROOKED! There were CHIPS in the NEW CAR PARTS that when brought to the attention of staff were covered up with what looked like white nail polish! There were inside plastic panels (that were shown to the staff prior to dropping off the car) that were NOT replaced at all and were still CRACKED! There were clips that went to the front bumper in a cup holder inside my car! They were broken, but when my boyfriend crawled under the car to look at the "new clips" THE BUMPER WAS MISSING THE CLIPS! There was paint in places that should have been taped off to prevent paint from getting there! Distressed and angry, I refused to take my car until it was fixed properly. This is what angers me the most: CALIBER COLLISION DROPPED MY KEYS INFRONT OF ME AND TOLD ME THE CAR WAS FINISHED! I called the insurance company who advised I take my car as the rental I had (and insurance was paying for) needed returned that day. I was crying! I was mad! I was assured that I could return for the necessary repairs at any time- but the big issue was I would be charged by the day if I did not return my rental car that day. I took my car, returned my rental, and dealt with the most idiotic employees at Caliber Collision over the phone... In the end THEY DID NOT FIX MY CAR STATING THAT IT WAS FIXED RIGHT THE FIRST TIME- despite the dozens of pictures I took before I even got my keys back! They would not repair (even though it has a "lifetime warranty") and tried looking for other things that could cause this. Paint bubbling 4 months after the work? Eww. What a horrible taste in my mouth. I left Caliber Collision feeling completely taken advantage of. Brought in my vehicle because of a small fender bender, and the staff took out a green and red washable car marker, and in front of me marked my entire vehicle with every single issue they could possibly find. I kept trying to tell them, that these things didn't need to be fixed, and they said, "oh yes, we know, we are just marking all the problems with your vehicle so you can't blame us after we fix the real problem." what a terrible first impression. They continued to look at everything and carefully tell me that the damage wasn't that bad, and should be a quick and easy fix. They contacted my insurance company and emailed me an estimate. The estimate had things on it, that I know for a fact weren't even broken. They drained my vehicle of Freon from the AC unit, and quoted that it was wrecked from the fender bender (which I know it wasn't because I drove the car home after the accident) and then wanted to charge me for a recharge of my AC unit as well as a repair. They also broke multiple brackets, hoses, and left the interior of my car filthy. After we got our details from the insurance company, they refused to repair the vehicle even though my insurance company confirmed that they would allow the car to be fixed. Caliber Collision at this point had completely disassembled my car, refused to put the man power in to put the pieces back together without charging me, left dirty pieces all over the interior of my vehicle, didn't mark where any of the bolts (which were left in a messy unorganized pile on the car floor) belonged or to which pieces they went to. When we complained they asked us to sign a paper releasing them from any responsibility of the vehicle and claiming that they didn't do any damage to the vehicle than was already there when we had dropped it off. This a complete LIE!!! I had to tow my car to another repair show, who eagerly took my money and repaired my vehicle. Caliber Collision also broke the windshield wiper fluid dispensers, bracket to my radiator air pump, and hoses when dissembling my vehicle. They will claim that they did nothing wrong and that these items were already damaged. But I guarantee you this is also a LIE. I checked inside the hood of my car in broad daylight for hours before bringing it into the shop and I know that they were trying to milk me for every dollar that they could. They are a bunch of crooks and I would never come here again. Do yourself a favor and go down the street to MAACO auto repair where they will treat you like a human being, with respect. Also the lobby staff were rude, rolled their eyes at me and my wife, spoke condescendingly to both of us, and also made multiple comments about politics in a rude and unprofessional manner. And they threw away my license plate due to their negligence and tried to say it was damaged anyways and needed to be replaced!! How ridiculous.
