They work with my insurance company to get the OEM parts I really wanted on my new car, and negotiated with them so there was no additional out of pocket costs for me. I've gone to them before when my wife's car was hit, and they did a great job, working with insurance and making the car look brand new. Getting into a car accident is no fun whatsoever especially when it wasn't your fault. It can be a very stressful time if you don't have the right people on your team, however this was not the case. I have AAA insurance and they have never failed me and they didn't this time when they sent me over to Caliber Collision to repair my car. From the moment I stepped into the door Mayra was the most compassionate, knowledgeable, and communicative person I've come across. Throughout the entire process, she communicated with me every step of the way from daily updates of how my car is going to a car part that they ordered not being up to their standards so they had to send it back and order a new one. When she told me that a car part did not fit their standards so she was sending it back, I had no problem waiting an extra couple of days because it tells that she takes pride in the way the car is repaired and is not willing to just take any car part that is ordered. The transparency was refreshing because I'm sure anyone reading this has experienced how stressful and time-consuming it can be to repair something that you rely so heavily on. Additionally, there are a lot of organizations that will try to rip you off or up charge for "miscellaneous" items when you're given the quote. Mayra was very thorough is breaking down how much something will cost along with the labor. She made me feel comfortable to ask questions and bring up concerns and addressed them in detail while not making you feel dumb for asking. She is very knowledgeable about cars in general so she will also give you tips if you ask on how best to protect your car. For example, my Corolla is further down to the floor so she gave me the tip of turning whichever way I'm going by before hitting a dip so the suspension isn't doing a nose dive straight down but rather slightly to the side. Although this information may seem obvious to some people it's reassuring to receive it from an expert who will give you the reasoning behind why she's telling you something as well as what the long term consequences can be if you decide to not do that. Overall, I'm beyond pleased with the everyone who worked on my car. From the service guys who put my car back together to the person who arranged my car to be repainted and the mechanic shop overall who treated my car as if it was one of their own. This collision repair shop was referred to us by the driver's at fault insurance company. While my insurance offered a referral to another local repair shop, I'm thrilled that we went with the other referral and having the repairs done with Caliber Collision. The customer service from the very nice front office manager and Lewis B. was excellent! Lewis explained in great detail what they'd do to repair the car and how long it would take. While it was being repaired, Lewis would call or text with updates, too. We really liked that! The quality of the repairs and repainting was totally 5 stars! As everyone knows, car accidents come at extremely bad times in one's life. You're already stretched thin and to be without your car for any length of time is a total inconvenience. I met with Matt a couple days after my collision and I was upfront about how much time I had to spare with my set of circumstances. My car is older so getting parts for it was going to take a bit more time. He was able to start the search for the parts ahead of me dropping off my car for the repairs. This was exceptionally helpful. I was also able to have a touch up done which was separate from my collision. It was great to be able to get both things done at once. Matt was extremely attentive to my situation and made sure he did everything in his power to make sure this repair moved along swiftly. When my car was done, he even brought the car to me. Now my repairs were small, but they did a fantastic job with the repairs. My car came back to me sparkling which was great because I've not had a lot of time to take care of my car. I am compelled to write this review after 2 extremely excellent experiences with this shop! I was in a hit and run accident over the summer, and Caliber Collision was one of the shops approved by my insurance company. I had used a mom and pop shop in the past, but the owners had retired. I was unsure about trying a big corporate body shop, but Caliber wowed me. The communication was great, the coordination, and the repair was excellent. Overall great experience. But it wasn't until I hooked a pole pulling out of a carport that I really fell in love with this shop! I have a $1,000 deductible with my insurance so I called to see if it's possible to help me decide if I should just pay cash for the repair, or submit a claim to my insurance. I spoke to Brian, a Service Advisor, and he said, "Sure, bring it in this afternoon, and we can do a visual inspection just to give an idea of the cost of the repair to help you decide." Here's where it get's good. Matt, the Service Manager, came out to take a look. First, he snapped the fender back into place with his fist, like the Fonz! He said, hey, this will buff out - just take it to a detailer, but then thought about it and said, wait here. He came back out with a rag and some cleaner, and hand buffed it out! BEWARE OF THIS BUSINESS THEY ARE SCAMMERS. Got rear ended and the other party's insurance recommended to get an estimate from this body shop. Went here to get an estimate on the actual part that was hit, rear end which is the back of the car. Mind you I have other damage on my vehicle and I pointed it out and told them NOT THIS DAMAGE. They still took pictures of the whole car for some reason, it's not even near the rear end damage. I ask the guy how much would be the difference be if I wanted to do the other damages OUT OF MY OWN POCKET. He says and this is a direct quote *laughs* "Oh don't worry about that just worry about keeping your car running at this point." Me: "Can you please tell me how much would be the difference?" Him: "8000". Could have just said that in first place and not talk down to me like I couldn't afford it. Maybe I can, you don't know? Why are you assuming I can't? Having the money I would not waste it here. You could just buy a whole new car at that point. I've been to other body shops and gotten estimated 3-5k for the whole car is way less than 8 for just the DIFFERENCE from what the insurance will cover. Then he walks away and doesn't tell me the estimate so I have to call to ask. They tell me a little under 1000. Ok. Talk to the insurance agent and they told me this business said I said I wanted the whole car done that isn't the accident damage and they refuse to do my car. HAHAHA WOW. So you're telling the insurance I'm trying to commit fraud when I pointed out the damages to you that are obviously different than rear end damage? Man this business sucks so bad. I don't even want to name the person who helped me at this point because it's just so bad I don't want to go that low but I had to put my truth out there in some form. So coming here was a complete waste. Had to get the insurance's estimater come look at my car at this point. They even told me this business sucks and they are hard to deal with and just want to scam people!!! DO. NOT. COME. HERE. Went there for a cosmetic hit and run and they quoted me all sorts of nonsense that wasn't even true... and told me the quote would possibly be more when they took the bumper off. I had some repairs done here on my car's bumper after being rear-ended. They did a fantastic job and were very communicative throughout the whole process. About 6 months after my repairs, I noticed a leak on my door's rear hatch. I brought it back to Caliber to see if they could figure out where it was coming from. Brian helped me through the process, and it turned out to be a leaky light on the hatch door (not related to the prior damage or repairs). His team not only diagnosed the problem, but repaired it for free, which was absolutely unbelievable! Horrible communication and service! I brought my car here last month for a windshield replacement. First they took out the windshield only to realize they had the wrong one. I would have checked BEFORE I removed the windshield, but that's just me. Then I brought it back and they replace the windshield only to damage the paint around the frame. They were initially responsive and offered to fix it and for a rental car. I was appreciative so I didn't ask for the rental. I made an appointment and brought my car in on Monday. The new manager (Ezra) was having a rough day. He said it was his first day, that he was brought in by corporate to help clean up that location. He said my car should only take a couple, 2-3 days. I said I needed my car back by the weekend cuz we were going out of town. 4 days later I have to call to get any updates. Turns out they hadn't finished disassembling my car yet! They said when Ezra gets back on Monday they would give me an update. I asked to speak to a manager. The girl said none were available. I had to argue to speak to "someone in charge." At this point I just asked to have my car ready by end of business and I will pick it up. This is ridiculous!!! At this point, I will take it somewhere else. This time they will pay the other body shop and for a rental car! For the record, we have had service several times at the Caliber on Apex. They are much better!!!! read more

Let me say I know that shops that work with insurance are all looked at the same but Caliber Collision is worlds above the other shops. I had a problem with the first shop recommended and was able to fix it and get it to Caliber Collision on Monday. I was immediately impressed I arrived at my appointment an hour early due to the fact of coming from the other shop. The marked up my car and we went over the car with a fine tooth comb, they even had to inspection my leather seats to make sure that the other shop had left no damage due to windows being left open all weekend. The receptionist (I believe her name was Miriam) was sure great she understood that my car at 38 days owned was my baby. She was great at marking up the car and making sure I knew going forward who would be handling my car. I received an email from Lewis later Monday with estimate and then even a phone call to make sure that I knew about the estimate and giving me a time frame. He followed up with a phone call on Wednesday to let me know that because it is 2025 that one of the parts we were going to replace does not exist. My car was done on time and was even dropped off at my house while my babies were sleeping; they took back the rental so all I had to do was move car seats. Super easy to return back to normal. My special needs kiddo was so excited to wake up from rest time and see the car back. Totally recommend to everyone I know and those I don't read more

Above and beyond! By the time I arrived at Caliber, I had already been to about 6 auto body repair shops. I had a very small scrape/scratch on the left front bumper of my 2023 Mazda CX-5. I got the scratch from heaven knows where and of course the perpetrator did not leave a note. The estimates I received were between $100 to $1300. I got there about lunch time but they were able to assign me an advisor. Enter Matt Hurtado. With the rain pouring down, I lead him to my car to show him my plight. He kneeled down to inspect the scratch, rubbed his finger across the scratch, and stood up. He then asked me point blank, "would you like me to save you some money?" I of course said yes. He asked if he could borrow my car for a few minutes and asked me to wait in the lobby. No more than 5-10 minutes later he was back by poking his head in the door and said to come take a look. The scratch was gone and with no indication that it had ever been there. Utterly amazed I asked him how much? He shook his head and said nothing. Go get out of the rain and have a great day. I'm sorry to say my experience here was not as positive as many others seemed to be. When I first dropped my vehicle off everything was fine. I pointed out the damage which was caused by someone sideswiping me. My front bumper and passenger fender were damaged and I clearly pointed out both. When I came to pick up my vehicle I noticed nothing had been done to the fender. Upon pointing this out the service member immediately said I never told him about the fender. I was a little annoyed at basically being called a liar and when I assured him I did he curtly said he would order a new fender and I could bring it back. So I took my vehicle and went home waiting to be called back when the fender arrived. After a couple weeks with no response to my text inquiry I called and was told the fender had "just arrived". Good timing I guess... so scheduled a time to bring my vehicle in and was assured it would be a quick repair. Yeah it was. As you can see in the pictures they made no attempt to repair any damage just swapped the new fender for the old one. What I don't understand is, this was all covered by insurance so they were getting paid for the repairs. It's not like they had to do it for free which I guess would make the crappy job a little more understandable. The bumper repair looks good but given the bad experience with the fender I kind of wonder if they took shortcuts on the bumper job too... read more

Jillian the service advisor was awesome. I took my father's car in and she kept me up to date regularly on the repairs of the car each week. She showed me regular photos. I knew I was in good hands. It is a Subaru and took time to get the parts but I knew every step that was being done along the way so I was very comfortable with the entire experience. The work was awesome and I am very happy with the garage and the service they provided. The car was heavily damaged and they repaired it to the point that it now runs better than before! Well I'm certain no one WANTS to get their car repaired but a lady rear ended me and I found myself here after making a claim with my car insurance. The workers are very friendly, there's plenty of parking and they have coffee and water bottles to make you feel right at home while you wait. I also like that Rent-a-car has a delivery service where if you are getting your car repaired, you can easily jump ship to the rented car that insurance covers. After 12 years of having a drivers license and never even having so much as a traffic ticket- it's nice to know that it was much simpler than I had imagined. read more
