I could not be more disappointed in the lack of service I've received from this location. I've been told my car would be ready on 4 different dates over the last 2 weeks and it is still sitting in their shop with no idea of when it will be done. I get texts saying it will be done on a certain date. Then when I call on that date to confirm (which I SHOULD NOT HAVE TO DO), I'm told it won't be ready after all. Do not use Caliber unless you want to pay a fortune in rental car cost. They initially told me two weeks to repair my vehicle when I dropped it off on December 30. They then moved the completion date eight times from 1-24 to 1-28 to 2-5 to 2-10 to 2-21 to 2-27 to 3-4 to 3-6 to 3-7. On January 28 they told me they had all the parts to complete the repair, so I'm not sure what they were doing from January 28 to March 7. They had my vehicle for a total of 67 days. When I came to pick up, the front desk attendant just gave me my key and receipt with no explanation. Management was well aware of the incompetence, so if their reply to this posting is to let them know, that is false concern. read more

Never will I ever return to ANY Caliber Collision. I got a massive amount of body work done after being driven off the side of the road. The repair took well over 30 days. I had to call to get updates, they rarely reached out to me to give me an update. Caliber Collision guarantees a life long warranty on their repairs. The epoxy that was used on my car and since expanded and causes numerous cracks in the poor paint job. Side note, the paint job came with numerous bubbles. This leads me to believe that the paint job was rushed. Also the panel that was reinstalled never lined up with the body of the car, see photos. When I finally picked up my car, it was covered on the inside with dust and powder. Clearly they had wiped the car down at least once, but with the cost of the repair, it should have been wiped down AT LEAST another 2 times. Long after the repair, my car dealership reached out to me letting me know they got in a part I had ordered. Interestingly enough, the date the part was ordered was during the 30+ day stay at Caliber. I am completely aware that I can take my car into Caliber for, what they like to say, is a lifetime guarantee on their repairs, and maybe offer to do the work for free. That being said, the work that was done on my car was so piss poor that I would rather make ANOTHER insurance claim and go to a different repair shop, than to ever step foot into this chain establishment ever again in my life. UPDATE: As you can see below, this business is wanting me to reach out to them so they can "fix" the situation. Please read the above paragraph. The work on my truck was done very good. Parts matched up and fit perfectly. After work was done, they washed my truck. Excellent customer service. The reason for 2 stars, I had to go up there and doing something they asked. While I was up there the guy asked me a question about my truck and what I do. After the fact it and I left it came to me that he couldn't have known about what I do based off the fact that I completely cleaned out the cab and only.had stuff locked under a tonneau cover and decked system. The receptionist is VERY rude. I called to schedule an appointment after getting a recommendation from Audi. She told me she couldn't help me that my insurance would have to talk to them first. She put me on hold numerous times without waiting for a response. Then, they called the wrong number back to schedule. I called to set up an appointment and they were unwilling to schedule me on a time that would work to get an estimate and I live over an hour away. Needless to say they won't be getting my business because the receptionist is rude and doesn't want to do her job well. Beware of completion date on repairs. They took TWICE as long to replace bumper than promised. GM Pete Sherbet says take unfinished truck home if delays are too excessive. If I could give no stars I would! I got rear ended in November 2021. Damage was not too bad. They had my truck for 4 + months because they said they couldn't get a part.. Once I got my truck back the bumper isn't on correctly, the paint job was terrible and my back sensors no longer work.. Now I need to bring it somewhere else to have it fixed properly! I am unhappy with the service I have received. This shop was recommended by my insurance and they have had my car for over 6 weeks to fix hail damage and it is still not complete. They told me that my battery has died and now they are waiting on a battery. The estimator Kevin would only call once every 2 to 3 weeks. They refuse to cover my rental which I have to pay out of pocket $800. I am reporting my car stolen to the police and getting an attorney. Hail damage claims should not take this long especially if there are no part delays. I should not be punished for your shop's incompetence. read more

i have had two experiences with this location in the past 3 years and last week was the second. They are well set up with an insurance adjuster on site for each major provider. They also have an Enterprise rental car office right on site too. The waiting area is comfortable with popcorn, refreshments and a big screen television with comfortable seating. I was dealing with the State Farm representative this time, had a designated parking space, was promptly seen and inside of about 15 minutes, walked out with an estimate and a check. I was told that we can pick our own body shop and that they would handle any inconsistencies between the estimate and the body shop estimate, but that turned out to be negligible. Caliber Collision has their own body shop on site and they had previously worked on my other vehicle. It really could not have been more convenient to drop off a car, get an estimate or drop off a car for work and getting a rental on the spot. It is clear that they value the customer experience and try to make it as smooth and positive as possible under the circumstances. read more

Week by week my estimated time of completion was pushed for TWO MONTHS with a text a day before it was expected to be done. There was no communication as to what was prolonging the repair unless I called them myself. Then I picked up my car and it was FILTHY. Clearly driven by people wearing dirt covered clothes. We spoke to the regional manager and took the car to the location on Woodruff Rd to be looked at again. Since then, the woodruff center has found SEVERAL missing parts and repairs that were done incorrectly. Now I am stuck FOUR months later still without my car waiting on part that are back ordered. Honestly, this place was solid foundation to an accident. Some amazing souls in this place who are working very diligently to keep the world going for others. My car had a pushed in front end and Ryan was a HUGE help. The process was swift. enterprise was in the same building and it made me realize how important it is to have convenience (again, during a time like this). I was offered an awesome whip to make up for not having mine, and Garrett was that helper. There was a woman in the front, Jody?, who was also super sweet and kind. I had an awesome experience despite the situation. My advice? Get good insurance, be kind to others, and SAY THANK YOU! I do not recommend this shop. Allstate sent me here originally. Kept the car 7 weeks first time and it was not fixed. Took it back twice again for adjustments and each time something else was screwed up. One time they even put the back windshield wiper on UPSIDE DOWN. It was wiping the back of the car, not the window. Car is taking on water now and they have had car in to fix that water problem twice already. Five attempts to fix same accident and still failed. On the last time, the GM had the receptionist tell me he had gone to lunch when he was actually in the building. At the very least, poor quality control and a lack of respect for customers. This was an Audi and they are certified for Audi. Audi and Allstate are doing their customers a disservice by recommending this shop. read more

These guys jacked up the price of repairing my car and said if they totaled it for me, i could buy the car back and have some other cosmetic issues fixed on it that I had asked about. Then they kept my car for over a month for a 5 day job and kept telling me it was due to the faulty parts they were getting and having to send back. This was for a small dent in the door. To add injury to insult, when they said my car was ready, I had to wait an hour and a half to actually get it. Caliber hosted the insurance agent, my estimate appointment was there using their rates, and they now refuse to schedule the repair. I am amazed at the negative reviews on this place. I guess everyone's experience is different. My 2011 SS Camaro was backed into in the parking lot of Olive Garden. Geico recommended Caliber Collision and I went with them. Every part of my experience with this place was great. I feel they were honest with the estimate and they were super fast with the work. I took it in on Monday morning and I drove it home Tuesday afternoon. My car looked as good, if not better then when I parked it in the Olive Garden parking lot. Everyone I dealt with was super professional and what a job they did cleaning the inside and outside of my car. I honestly feel my car looked better than when I bought it at the dealership. I wrecked our 2012 Honda Civic. Totally my fault (rear-ended someone on 385S after hard braking). GEICO didn't give us any option except this place. After seeing the reviews here and on Google, I was concerned. Thankfully, everything went smoothly. The car was inspected and a quote given. I had some concerns with a few of the lineitems because I didn't recall any issues with the parts. After emailing the representative I was working with, Gary Brousseau, he promptly gave me an explanation and pictures which I compared to my own. Any questions I asked he replied to promptly. The work took about 10 business days. While we opted not to use a rental, they even allow for rental drop off at their service center when you pick up your vehicle. The office was pleasantly decorated and I was seen almost immediately. They have an array of free beverages (water, coffee, Coke, Sprite, and more) which I was offered. I had taken a look at my vehicle before I went in (I wanted to give it a once over without distraction) and I only had to sign the release and pay the deductible. Oddly enough, they don't take cash. Gary came out to give me the final once over and I was on my way. I had a very good experience and would gladly use them again. read more

I've had to run my car into Caliber three times because people in South Carolina seem to be unable the grasp the concept of driving. But I digress. I have a love/hate relationship with Caliber. First and foremost, they do a great job with the paint and body work. When it really comes down to it, that's what matters. However, there are so many distractions that it's hard to call this place a pleasant experience. The staff at reception can be a little rude, but the real problem is the pain of setting up an appointment with these people. I understand that Caliber has processes that have to be met, but they are absolute slaves to these processes. For example, I dropped off my car after a wreck in a undriveable condition. They wanted me to bring it back in a week and I have a hell of a time getting them to understand that the vehicle CANNOT be driven and that I needed to leave it with them and then they could work on it whenever it came into the work queue. This blew their minds. They wanted me to take the undriveable car, schedule and appointment, and then drop the car off again. Stupid...just stupid. With that said Mario, one of the estimators, is a beacon of professionalism at this place. He gets the job done fast and will call you personally to keep you updated. Like I said, love/hate. I only come here because my insurance uses this as a preferred body shop. If I was spending my own money, I'd go somewhere else. read more

Do not recommend! I'll start by saying that I've worked with this location twice and had a great experience the first time, but this second experience has absolutely ruined it for me. I will never work with Caliber again and will make sure none of my friends ever get work done there in the future. The list of complaints is long, so hang in there! -NO MASKS!! We're in a global pandemic and Greenville is one of the worst places in the state/country but employees are not wearing masks. I called corporate and a regional manager called me back and told me they would be addressing the issue. This worked for a few days but when I went back tonight to get my car, once again NO MASKS. One employee at the front desk had her mask on her chin, another employee at the desk had no mask, and no one else I saw walking around had masks. Yet, there are signs when you enter the building and on the website saying masks are required. -It took months to get this scheduled (some fault of the insurance company, some fault of Caliber since I kept having problems with Ana handling the paperwork) and when they did finally schedule me to come it, Kevin told me they would just buff out the damages so I could stay there while they did the work. I show up and Kevin isn't there so I worked with Gilbert, who quickly looked at the car and informed me that they couldn't buff out a dent and he didn't know why Kevin suggested that was an option. He let me know it would take at least a few days to make the repairs and that I would need to reschedule, so I did just that. -Never heard from Kevin again, so I guess I got passed to Gilbert. Gilbert seemed like he was trying to be nice enough, but only ever wore a mask right after I got corporate involved and was not wearing a mask when I picked up my car this evening. He never told me when to expect my car to be ready. Now in my previous experience with Caliber, I got daily pictures and updates and was kept informed throughout the entire process. I did not get that level of care with Gilbert. To be fair, had I not had an excellent experience the first time, I wouldn't have known to expect that. Gilbert did ask that I get involved with negotiations with the insurance company (not my insurance - belongs to the person who hit me) and I'm still not really sure why he would ask the costumer to get involved when it wasn't my responsibility to resolve the payment issue. He also reminded me this evening when I picked up my car to not let the negative experience I had with the insurance company reflect in the feedback I provide to Caliber in my survey. I promise - it is not! -When I got my car this evening, there was dust and footprints inside the car (including footprints on the inside of my driver's door) which was a clear indication to me that my car hadn't been cleaned. Now I don't expect a full detailing service or even a vacuum, but it shouldn't be dirtier than how I left it and I did expect that there would be some level of cleaning done to help sanitize my car since we're in a pandemic. -Now as I'm driving home, I realized my right turn signal is blinking very quickly. Sure enough, I have someone check my lights and my brake light and turn signal don't work on the side of the car where they did the repairs. This was not an issue when I dropped the car off. I am now forced to return to the location AGAIN to have them make repairs to my car, once again putting myself at risk for COVID because their employees don't seem to care at all about anyone else and can't be bothered to wear a mask. How they can do repairs on a car and then not check the lights before returning it to a customer is beyond me. That seems like a pretty basic thing to check and they put me in a dangerous situation with their negligence. So in short - if you'd like quality work done in a timely manner and don't want to risk getting COVID, definitely go somewhere else!!! (I will add that I did not have any issues with the Enterprise office at this location - the employee there was masked, helpful, and considerate). read more

So after almost three more weeks of my vehicle being at the shop they "completed" the second repair. Not sure why they were able to complete it in a week the first time but took them three times longer for the second repair. I would rate the repair as below average still. I am still very unhappy about the alignment of the bumper and the quality of the paint. They have informed me that the alignment on the bumper would be the same as a car sitting on the VW lot. I assure you it isn't. I even went and compared it with pictures to the same make and model vehicle that I own. Showing the alignment differences. With this proof I was still told there was nothing that they could do since they replaced the parts that would affect the alignment of that panel. The paint has swirl marks in it and the clear coat is not the same thickness on the panels they painted. I will be calling State Farm and filing a complaint. I will also be requesting that State Farm pay for the issue to be correct at another shop. My vehicles will never be going back to this shop again. read more

I don't like leaving negative reviews, as I understand the subjective experience of one person does not necessarily reflect the quality of service of an entire company. However, if there ever was a place that deserved it, this place does. Our original estimate was for 3 days and about a third of what we originally ended up with more than 2 weeks later. Sure, I understand sometimes the damage is worse than you can figure from an estimate. But after all this, they installed used headlamps with burned-out, non-factory bulbs that they apparently didn't even test. The Toyota dealer informed me that these were not Toyota parts. I found this out the hard way driving back from Asheville one night. Likewise, our AC fan rattles incessantly, which it did not do even after our fender-bender before we brought it in to Caliber. I don't trust them to fix it without breaking something else, so I'll probably end up fixing it myself. 6 months later they still owe us some work which has been paid for but not delivered. Every time we call, which is every few weeks, we get told "the guy who does that is on vacation and he should call you back very soon". Do yourself a favor and avoid doing business with this place. After seeing our experience, our insurance company has stopped recommending this shop to customers. read more
