Honestly, I've used this place two years ago because my insurance recommended them and I had no problems with them two years ago for a different reason. This time, I hit a deer and geico set me back up with them again. Went to drop off my car and the lady that was reviewing the damage was like it would take a minimum of two weeks possibly but we'll keep you updated. Then they set me up with a rental, thankfully and I was on my way. About a few hours later, they called to inform me I need to come pick up my car by 5:30 and return the rental because they declined to fix the vehicle. As I'm very confused, I asked why and all they said was due to a previous failed repair on the fender. I informed them I have had no repairs on the car since I've purchased it in 2020 besides when they worked on it in 2023. The lady was like well someone tried to repair it at some point and it failed. Mind you all... I hit a deer. It's like that part got thrown out the window completely. Then she just kept dismissing my confusion and said come get your car and return the rental or you'll be charged for it. I went to enterprise to drop the rental off they were surprised and said they didn't receive any message about me having to bring it back. Thankfully they gave me a ride back to caliber. When I arrived they legit handed over my keys without checking for ID or anything. And didn't give me no paperwork or estimate to have it looked elsewhere. Just honestly a completely lack of care in my opinion. Will never return to them. Your job is to fix the car... can't even do that. read more

Excellent collision repair experience!!! I cannot recommend this Caliber location enough. Got hit by someone and needed my bumper and grill repaired. I live up near Raleigh but work down in Fayetteville and called this location because Raleigh and Fuquay couldn't get me in for awhile and this was way easier to coordinate to drop it on my way to work. They were able to fit me in quickly and they work brilliantly with the Enterprise a block away so my rental experience was seamless. I've had Caliber repairs on former cars at the Wake Forest, NC location with good experiences and this location was no different. Tim was excellent! Kept me updated on my repair and got me back in my Mustang faster than expected. The repair was flawless and you can't even tell that someone hit me! Everyone was super friendly at this location even though they're always extremely busy!! SO happy to have my car back and EXTREMELY pleased with my repair and the team at Caliber. My car was a 2021 civic front end damage from drunk driver they said it would be 3 weeks and it turned into 50 plus days when I go to pick it up loose bolt and serious gaps in between the hood and fender's they were proud of their work and acknowledged all the mistakes and respond by saying let us keep it a few more days and we can adjust it and get it right avoid this place like Covid if your lawn mower needs paint and blade go there otherwise keep it pushing real talk it was a 13000 dollar job now all the warning lights are on in the dash 7 brake power steering airbag lane hold etc WOW. read more

The only reason I'm leaving them two stars is because I have been to one of their other shops - both locations have extremely nice people and good customer service. The rest of the review reflects the fact I went in to have them take a look at my bumper which had been damaged in a fender bender. I got the quote but decided not to get the work done as it wasn't horrible...didn't think anything of it. Then, I'm walking by my bumper the one day and notice that it appears that it wasn't damaged at all, it was popped out of it's groove that it sits in. I push it down and in and it's been fine ever since. Looks brand new. No dents at all. Yet, they were going to charge me something like $800 to replace my entire bumper for something that took ten seconds to fix. I feel like an idiot I didn't notice before. But it only takes once to lose my business and trust. read more

If there was an option for zero stars I would leave that. My insurance company set me up through them. They called me a week later 4 days before I turned my car in and said they couldn't take my car. I have to commute to Florida in 9 days and was under the impression my car was going to be fixed before then. Their incompetent employees booked me without actually having the time to fix my car. Caliber is unprofessional, lacks customer service, and when I tried to address an issue with my repair I was blown off and customer service rep literally walked away from me. OK...NOW I'm impressed. They have a strong customer service program, so if you're not impressed, take a moment to talk to them about what you're not happy with. I have a 2009 Camry, and after it was rear-ended, I took it to Caliber for repairs. Got the car back with 2 shiny new bumpers, but the rest of the car was dull and old looking. While it was in the shop, they had buffed out the marks that were all over the car. That left a bunch of shiny spots which emphasized how dull my car looked. I made a comment on Yelp, and the manager contacted me to see if he could make me happy. Today, I'm driving around in a beautiful shiny car, and I'm VERY happy. Feel like a VIP today. This place is horrible. I got quotes from three auto body repair shops here in Fayetteville. Caliber was the most expensive. But they had excellent reviews and a professional image and Shawn Godbold is quite the schmoozer when he's trying to get the order. I swear that man could sell ice to eskimos. I was leaving for California for a few days and asked if they could have my car ready when I returned. They said yes, if I brought it in the Thursday before I left. When I landed on Tuesday after flying all night long I called them and literally NOTHING had been done on my car. I expected Shawn to apologize and explain how they were going to resolve the problem but all I got were a lot of "the dog ate my homework" excuses. I told Shawn to cancel the order and I would pick up my car. He seemed fine with that which shouldn't surprise me because a $1,000 self pay repair is probably small potatoes for a huge franchise like Caliber Collision. Adding insult to injury, when I picked up my car it was filthy from sitting in their dusty parking lot for five days and whoever drove it got sand all over the interior. Furthermore they didn't bother replacing the window shade that I always use when my car is in the sun to protect the dashboard. Shawn didn't even bother to hand me the keys himself. Clearly my business wasn't worth the trouble. Now I'm going to give the mom and pop shop who begged for my business and were much cheaper a shot and I'll update this review after my car is repaired. read more

Went in today for an estimate on an easy paint touch up and spoiler install. First went to the website to schedule but, that didn't work. I then called and the lady told me to come down and she would have someone ready to do an estimate. WOW, what a waste of time! The desk lady asked me to wait for 45 minutes before she could have someone give me an estimate. What? I don't work for them! I thought I was the customer. 1 star is way too much for this place. My girlfriend had an accident and her insurance sent it here. After taking so long that her insurance couldn't cover for a rental car anymore she had to wait another 2 weeks with no car. they gave her, her car back the first time and engine light came back on before she could even get half way home. After getting it back a 2nd time she drove it for about a week before the engine light came on and oil pressure light came on. After checking the oil it was dry and a leak was found and the Volkswagen dealership found it was due to missing pieces/parts. After saying the parts would be in the next day and comped, some how between Volkswagen and caliber and the little deal they made to fix it they can't even find her car in the system to give her an update a week after the parts were supposed to be in. So now she's been out of a car/rental car for about 2 months now. No courtesy car or any type of comp for a rental has been offered. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE read more

Normally though, it requires an appointment, but since it was such a small job they were able to take care of it then. Very responsive, quick, and great customer service! Cosmetically they did an outstanding job, however when we go deeper into the root of the problem is was not solved. My Chrysler 200s was backed into a few months ago in my back right tire. To this day my axel or wheel rotation is extremely bump and rough. Not sure what happened as far as damage after the accident, but the vehicle was 100 percent smooth before the accident. Though I am pleased with the appearance of the car. They did not fix they main issue which I may have to end up paying tons more of money in repairs. read more

1st I will have to say from accident to getting my car into the location was great although they had my car for 30 days for repair. They stated the parts were hard to come by for my 2016 Suv. Later was called to pick up my car, paid the attendee and they gave me the keys. I was only told to not wash the car for 3 days but no one ever went to show me any repairs or things on the car before I left. I figure everything was 100%. Methinks NOT! I remember hearing a noise while driving my car home but figured it was the rough All-American freeway. I have been in a different car for a while and was just getting acclimated to driving my car again. The next day I go to walk out to my car and I see a screw just sitting on the ground? Mind you I haven't really checked the car repairs as I was planning to wash my car the following day. So I called and let them know that the car looks like it wasn't repaired properly and sent pics to the shop. They replied you must have ran over something? After further review, I found that the undercarriage area had not been properly attached causing air flow to push it under my 22" tires ripping it off completely. Also found hood trim not attached, old parts that were damaged in accident were just tossed in the back of my car and left there. Broken parts from the car were also still inside the engine area and my new front end already had a 5" scratch on it all within hours of repair? Only thing good out of this situation is that I got a $25 Gift card for bringing the car back to the shop! They will not see my car again after my insurance adjuster tells them that they ARE responsible for the shody work! read more

I live out of state and my accident happened in NC. Of course no one plans for an accident or a $500 deductible. I will be refunded my deduction but when that will happen I'm not sure. But the employees here have been absolutely fantastic! I have a special needs daughter and to be told your going to have to figure out $500 is a lot and really put my family in a tight spot. This location not only worked with me on paying as I could but also worked with my insurance for my rental and so much more. This is the company that I hope people will not take advantage of! The few names I directly worked with were nothing short of a miracle in this stressful time Will who is the front desk clerk has great customer service. The guys who worked on my care did awesome!!! And the two ladies who worked with my insurance their names are Nicole and Gina. These people may have been doing their jobs but to me they were life savers. I had a horrible experience with this company. I hit a deer out of state and USAA recommended this shop to me. What should have been a month-long repair ended up taking almost two months and when I got the car back the work was horrible and incorrect. The hood and fender didn't line up after completed. The door and fender didn't line up. The driver door and rear door didn't line up. The paint looks like it was out a spray can. There are grommets missing on the driver door. The inner fender was not replaced and the old smashed one was installed and not secured. My cars battery was replaced without my knowing and is nowhere on any receipt nor was I told why it was replaced. The mirror cover that was painted was done poorly and I can see that it use to be blue. The two doors that were replaced have dings all over them and are clearly visible in the sun. I am completely dissatisfied with this company and am now waiting for another company to fix my vehicle correctly and fix the mistakes that were made by caliber. The car was suppose to be done by October 31 and didnt get done until Nov 25th. I will never return to a Caliber or recommend this company to anyone. I even recommended to USAA that they remove this company from there approved shops. read more
