I cannot recommend this location. We dropped off a fully functioning vehicle to have cosmetic damage repaired, and they attempted to pass off a shoddily repaired and partially functional rear gate as being completely repaired. The paint job was amateurish. The lift gate opened and closed via the remote (though not as smoothly as before); however, when using the button on the lift itself (where the actual repair happened) it no longer even attempted to raise the gate. Rather than being accountable for their mistake, they attempted to argue it was bad gas struts (conveniently, not covered by insurance). When pressed for an explanation as to why pressing one button makes the struts good and another button makes the struts bad, or why not one but two fully functioning struts would fail identically and completely during the time they had it, they hung up twice on me under the pretext I was talking over them (I was not, at least not any more than they were). Regardless, "we accepted money, returned your vehicle in functionally worse shape than we got it, and are refusing to stand behind our work on the basis of a nonsensical claim we have to avoid by gaslighting, but we think you talked over us, so go away" isn't a great or professional stance.
I welcome the managers/owner to correct any claim I've made here, so long as you answer this question clearly: how is it that gas struts are so bad that they won't attempt to open the gate when you press one button, but are plenty capable when you press the button you did not touch during the repair? Also, be sure to bring the same rude energy as you did on the phone when you reply. Don't hold back just because it's public. (Will add pictures and videos soon.) read more
