I met Nicole at Aura Wellness where she did a basic/quick analysis and I decided to do an in depth one with her. Nicole did a great job at explaining each season and what cool tone vs warm tone is. I liked how she added a variety of celebrities from the states and Asia as a reference. It helps put into perspective which celebrities to look out for. When she went through the process, she shared with me what she looks for to see what my colors are, what jewelry color I should go for, hair color, patterns, and neckline (for clothes). I liked that add on because it gives me an idea what suits me the best for not only the color of the clothes but the design and structure! The room you're in is very minimal and clean. Not only that, but she was hygienic throughout the whole procedure. During the procedure, however, she started off by putting numbing cream on my eyelids for 20 minutes. Then drew the liners to make sure I liked the size and shape. During the process, she was super efficient and thorough. She made me feel comfortable and at ease with the level of care and attention she put into. Afterwards, she cleaned me up and used a special ointment on my eyelids. Although my eyelids were sore right after, as well as swollen the next morning, it wasn't too bad. This picture is of me the morning after the procedure. I mean- this is (semi)permanent! But Eva was so patient with me, walked me through the different strokes/ procedures, and made sure I was comfortable. In the end I went with nano strokes. She took her time mapping my eyebrows and made sure I agreed before she started. Before going to Jieun, I went back and forth about whether I wanted ombre or microshading. I actually never have gotten a tattoo in my decades of living, so this took me years to decide. After being almost stood up by an ombre artist (she told me she was busy with a student and model and said I had to wait an hour), I was so glad I found Jieun through a Facebook ad. Who would've thought?! Jieun answered all my initial questions and we decided on a date. I was so nervous, but she made me feel comfortable. The studio was very clean and we went over shapes, color, thickness, etc. I knew I wanted microshading because my eyebrows were close to nonexistent. She was very personable and accommodating. She made sure to check on my healing process until we set up the touch up appointment. I was a little weary because my eyebrows were fading a bit, but after the touchup, I felt better. Now, I can walk out of the house with no makeup on and feel confident. I also save 5 minutes out of my day and a lot of money on eyebrow products! I love the natural look of my eyebrows. I got eyebrow tattooing done a very long time ago (over ten years ago) which had since faded and left my naturally thin eyebrows looking blah. After spending years filling them in, I decided to do microblading. The process with Jieun was so smooth, she's very communicative and assesses you very closely. Once we decided together on a general shape and color tone, setting up an appointment was super easy. The microblading experience was great, went by super quick and Jieun was constantly checking in with me to make sure it wasn't too uncomfortable. It didn't hurt since she used numbing cream, but once I left I had a raging headache so I rushed across the street to CVS and bought some Tylenol and I was fine. She also gives you cool vizors to tape to your forehead when you shower to not get your eyebrows wet the first few days, and tiny containers of tattoo butter to keep them moist, and baby soap to wash them.
