I took my doodle to Paws Inn because I was told Maria was a good groomer, and it may be true, but I…read morewas kicked out of her establishment before I could find out. WHY???? She blamed me because a dog bolted out when I opened the door to enter the lobby with my dog. The UNATTENDED dog was left in the lobby alone. At first, I thought it was her dog just hanging out, but no....it was a customer's! A gate from the back to the lobby was left open, and there was no one in view. When Maria showed herself after about a minute, I told her a dog got out. She told me to wait while she hunted down the dog. The owner came, I told him what happened, and he took his car and also looked. 1/2 hour later thankfully the dog was found. When Maria came back, she told me it was my fault the dog got out and I should have known better there would be a dog unattended and un-leashed in the lobby. I asked why the gate was left open and she denied it was. I asked why the dog was in the lobby and she said it had anxiety and needed to be there. I said all the more reason the dog shouldn't be left alone. Every truth I told her she denied in front of the dog owner. She took NO responsibility at all. In essence she called me a liar. The other reviews are older, and I believe it was under different ownership then, because I had been there, and it was nothing like this. I am now banned from bringing my dog there. I wouldn't anyway because the smell is HORRENDOUS (and this is not an exaggeration). Just be aware that your dog may get out and the worst might possibly happen. PS....there was another dog in the lobby unattended....a cute little doodle puppy. I didn't want to leave it there alone because I wanted to sit in the car to get away from the odor. I am a huge dog lover and take care of my baby girl.

All my worries subsided when I met Lisa the owner. She is so attentive to your dog's needs and honestly truly cares and loves what she does! The yard that your dog can run in is awesome! My dog had a wonderful experience and we will be going back again! You will leave with peace of mind that your dog will be in great care!

We've had three different dogs go here and, when they first start...it's the same story. The dogs…read moredon't know what's going on at their first visit. And you see them struggle with a new situation. But after their first visit, you see them become more comfortable with their paws being touched and ears being looked at. And after a few more visits, they love their groomer and happily trot back with them! It's fantastic to see our dogs each learn to trust the experience and the groomer. To me, it means that when I'm away and they're being groomed, each dog has been treated with respect and handled with care. My dogs have all been large, and if they didn't want to go back with the groomer, they'd let you know my refusing to budge. Erin has handled our poofy Great Pyrenees and his immense coat with the same detail and expertise that she has given to our sleek Black Lab mix who has anxiety and dry skin. We also have a Komondor mix that she has helped with since he was a puppy ; helping to keep his nails, ears, and sanitary areas tidy while I do the work of creating his cords at home. They have been so understanding about his unique coat and we couldn't be happier! I appreciate their expertise and will keep going for all our needs!
