In June 2018, my left eye felt uncomfortable and contacted them for an appointment. Dr Yung gave me an immediate exam in the same day and diagnosed that there was a small hole on my retina. At once, she booked an emergency appointment successfully with a specialist and arranged me a laser surgery in the next day! On the Wednesday one week before, my left eye felt dry, pain, and kept tearing when winking, I tried to booked an emergency appointment with Dr Leong, in such a convid-19 pandemic time. They responded soon and Dr Leong gave a thorough exam in the next day and a following check on the next Monday. Dr Leong explained all my questions patiently, then, gave me a treatment schedule step by step in the next three months. Now my left eye feels well and vision recovers completely, though I still need to follow her instructions to prevent it from recurrent. I am very happy having Dr Leong and her team as my family eye care services. I definitely recommend Foresight Eye Care to anyone who needs a professional and trustworthy eye care clinic.

I book an annual eye exam right after my last one ends and have done this for the 8+ years I was a patient of this clinic. Recently they have implemented text messaging to confirm my appointment, and I got a text a few weeks before my appointment asking me to press 1 to confirm. I liked this new structure and promptly replied "1" exactly as asked. A week later I get the same text and figured something may have glitches. No problem: replied "1" again. I show up 5 minutes before my appointment time today and am told I don't have an appointment. I show the receptionist my text messages and responses. She says they didn't get them and thus canceled my appointment. She then asks the doctor if they can fit me in and they say they can't. WTAF I am so pissed off as I took the morning off work for this.

She took her time making sure that my prescription was just right and was very thorough with my contact lens fitting. We tried a couple samples to make sure it was the best that she could get. I also really appreciated that she explained everything she was doing while examining me.I really felt comfortable and confident with her examining my eyes. There was also no pressure to buy contact lenses from her office. I bought the amount that I wanted and she gave me my glasses prescription to shop around with. They also direct bill your insurance! Dr. Michele was excellent, explaining the pictures she took with new equipment I had not seen before. I have since started going to the Cochrane location as it is closer to home. I can't say enough about the staff at both locations as they have been so good. I can honestly say that after such a short time and just a few visits the staff all know me by name and treat me like a friend more so than a customer - not the case after 30 some years of going to the same Dr. in Edmonton. The follow up, concern and level of service is rarely seen these days! I have recommended them to others who are now seeing these folks and all have had the same experiences. I recently went to Mission Eye care for my 2 year check up…read more I was so impressed with the staff and the service they provided. From the minute I entered the office I felt very comfortable. The staff were all friendly & professional. The lady that selects the frames (after taking a look at my face) was impressive ! She sat me down, looked at my face shape, did a four finger measure and returned with 6 pairs of frames. Every frame was a fit ! She knows exactly what she's doing. The 1st pair I tried were perfect they looked great on me. The Optometrist was fantastic. I've had eye examinations before but never one as thorough as the one at Mission Eye Care. The Doctor was polite, professional & she gave my eyes the most thorough examination I ever had. I did mention that my previous eye exams were no where near as detailed as the examination she did and the Doctor was genuinely surprised that had been my experience. There is a whide range of beautiful designer frames, not a lot of cheaper options though. They have a good assortment of reading magazines, coffee and water in the waiting area. The reseptionist and staff are quite friendly and efficient. Their prices for contacts are standard. I once had to exchange one type of unopened contacts for another and there was no issue. They did undercharge me once, so they tacked the difference on to my next vist, but it wasn't a big deal. Dr. Michelle Naruszewicz, who I see, makes my visits so easy going! She explains everything thouroughly to me, even showing me pictures of what she is talking about! For instance I had minor inflammation under my eye lids, she recommended only what was needed to treat it and nothing else. She is what makes me want to come back and what makes me want to take care of my eyes. I highly recommend visiting Mountian View, they will take care of you well!
