Session started out with basic hot lapping so everyone could get used to the simulator and practice race driving techniques. The simulators are ultra-realistic. You see the track via three screens in front and the car chassis and seat move in accordance with what is happening on the screen and also your input on the throttle, brake and steering wheel. There are four simulators which can run at the same time so that 4 people essentially race each other. If you think you are a great driver the simulator will humble you quickly. It is extremely challenging. It is also extremely fun and it was as close to the track experience as you will get without actually going to the track. The upside is that you will not die when you crash and your car won't need any substantive repairs after you visit the Race Room. Both Blair and his son were extremely knowledgeable about track driving, providing tips and ensuring everyone knew what was going on. After hot lapping the group moved onto 'qualifying' which is for ranking the grid before the race. The race followed. Some drivers were better than others but my impression was that everyone had a blast. Will definitely be back. (I signed up to Yelp to post this review...that's how impressed I was).

The movement of the chassis felt awesome while you are strapped in with a full 4 point harness which is needed cause it does move you around a ton. The force feed back was so realistic. The peddles had the right feel and these machines will wear you down. The tracks Ann's cars you can choose from are awesome. I spent 2 hours on the nurmburgring and I didn't want to get out of the cockpit! Challenging to anyone that wants to try out racing without the high price of renting a race car!! I would recommend this to any race enthusiast! Worth every penny in my opinion!

They refused to refund the 418$, even though they confirmed i had canceled April 3rd, and they didn't actually cancel my membership until May 27th. Do not trust this place. They're after your money and couldn't care less about your health and well-being. They sold that one,…read moremoved to Victoria Park in 1909, and then later moved to its current location in Sunnyside in 1953. The old club, which sits north of the Bow River and Prince's Island Park in the city's centre, was rebuilt following a fire in 1976. I passed by and stopped in on my way towards (and up) the McHugh Bluff stairs. Curling is a sport in which players slide stones across a sheet of ice towards a target area which is segmented into four rings. Two teams, each of four players, take turns sliding heavy, polished granite stones, also called "rocks", across the ice curling sheet towards the house, a circular target marked on the ice. Each team has eight stones. The purpose is to accumulate the highest score for a game; points are scored for the stones resting closest to the centre of the house at the conclusion of each end, which is completed when both teams have thrown all of their stones. A game may consist of ten or eight ends. The Curler can induce a curved path by causing the stone to slowly turn as it slides, and the path of the rock may be further influenced by two sweepers with brooms who accompany it as it slides down the sheet, using the brooms to alter the state of the ice in front of the stone. A great deal of strategy and teamwork goes into choosing the ideal path and placement of a stone for each situation, and the skills of the curlers determine how close to the desired result the stone will achieve. This gives curling its nickname of "Chess On Ice". Bocce also comes to mind, with both allowing the consumption of adult beverages during play.
