Reasonably friendly local pub a little off East Kilbride's beaten tracks. Good for a quiet pint.

Leaving the pub to go to their own house and coming back again ????? Unbelievable customer service , unfortunately this member of staff let's the pub down with her terrible, appalling attitude ! Even a customer was disgusted with her attitude and left !!! Well won't be giving them my custom anymore , plenty other better establishment's to have a quiet drink in without hassle from a barmaid with MAJOR chip on her shoulder !! Also seems to have an ageism problem saying to young adults " what you drinking in here for , it's an old man's pub " ! Kept changing her reasons to why she was justifying throwing out people for no good reason , stating " She's a scheme bird from Castlemilk " !!And ???? Get your staff sorted , appalling display of behaviour , obv suited to a backend pub and not a proper respectful establishment that you would expect to go too

Having visited several times before and knowing that there wasn't going to be an issue accomodating us after 8, my mind was made up almost automatically. When travelling round the country I've been to quite a few of these Table Table restaurants. With them all I've always been greeted With a combination of comfortable and homely surroundings, a decent menu selection, good service and tasty food which looks like the menu. The best kind of pub grub. Being a Tuesday night When we arrived, the service was impeccable, with no wait to be seated, no delay in taking drinks orders and fast efficient delivery of our food. Service even came with a warning that the middle of the chicken might be hot and to take care. Also, during the evening (after 6 I think) they run a specials menu which has the option of 2 courses for £9.99 or 3 courses for £11.99. The specials had a varied selection of food ranging from burgers and salads through to a delicious chicken and ham pie. This time I had the chicken goujons with a caramel glaze, which was just delicious, followed up with the fish and chips, and the tastiest apple crumble with custard I've tasted. The pasta dishes and banoffee sundae also comes recommended. The beer garden outside looks like it could be a nice place to sit when the weather gets better and the premier inn next door could come in handy if the reasonable drinks prices prove to be too much of a temptation for any drivers. I'll be back here for sure. Location : 8/10 (only marked down a bit for the road running past the beer garden) Atmosphere and Surroundings : 10/10 Service : 10/10 Food : 10/10

The Lee Burn - Classic burger with bacon and cheese with relish and skinny fries. Excuse the finger in shot. Desperate for a chip me thinks.
