Do not hire this firm. They are a scam. They have taken my nephews money and keep telling us his attorney will call but no one ever calls. They have random attorneys show up to court and we have no idea what is going on. We will be filling a complaint with the State Bar. Save yourself the headache and do not hire them. If you think public defenders are bad, this firm is worst. If I can give them 0 stars, I would give them 0 stars. This is despicable behavior for professionals who are supposedly held to high standards. We will be filing a complaint that these attorneys do not respond to our request for information on our case, and the unauthorized transfer of client information to a completely different attorney without my nephews prior authorization. DO NOT HIRE. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. THEY TAKE ADVANTAGE OF YOU. I hired Calabria Law Group for my case. I've spent 6 months on pre trial and I've had 3 different lawyers assigned to me. NO COMMUNICATION. I only had 2 brief phone call with my first "lawyer" and introduction and ONE mini update on my case. NOTHING ELSE. I've shown up to court on time, THEY HAVE BEEN LATE EVERY APPEARANCE. 2m into my case, they switched my lawyers, they never called or text to tell me. I just showed up to my court appearance, 2hrs later a gentlemen introduces himself to me as my new lawyer. He never called me, he never gave me his phone number or business card nothing. It gets better tho, I had multiple court appearances that this law group sent a REP instead of an actual LAWYER, OR they did a zoom rep meeting. The judge looked visibly confused & frustrated as to why there was a rep sent instead of the lawyer when this case has been on the calendar for a while. 6months into my case now they switched my lawyer AGAIN. They sent me a text at 5:33pm on a FRIDAY, to inform me a new lawyer would be present. My court was sent for that next MONDAY. I show up to court, and this law firm sends ANOTHER REP to my case. This again irritated the judge. This rep didn't even know I was already scheduled for another court appearance FOR THE NEXT DAY and admitted it to the judge. Finally the best part. NO communication unless it's about your payment. They will make sure to respond to ALL your questions about payments and are quick to respond to questions. OH but when you have a question about your case? Silence. It's not only my experience, in the same court room as I there was another family who also made the mistake of hiring Calabria Law Group, same exact experience. We were given 3 different lawyers in 6months. We were not informed the lawyers were being switched. I retained an attorney with the Calabria law Group via a reference and a mailing I responded to... .. prior to that no knowledge or familiarity whatsoever.. I initially spoke with Delores, who seemingly is the office manager and often the Case Manager... she is very professional and knowledgeable..... she will quickly evaluate your situation and tell you your options, including the cost estimate (initial or probable cost in totality).... most all attorneys have the initial retainer to secure you represenration in court .... compared to other firms they were more reasonable ( lower $$) the jump point with them is that they are remote ( meaning no in office meeting !) not with Delores or the attorney she will assign to your case and appear in court when required ! most people will get squeamish paying $3000- $3000-$10000 over the phone (credit card)! yes you get a receipt and documentation with all the appropriate information ( case # etc ) you can call the relevant court that day or the next day if you are untrusting or nervous to verify their contact with the court as your representative.. next she, Delores, with assign you an attorney from their firm (remote attorney roster per se).... my attorney was Said Argomand )... this attorney will speak with you shortly thereafter (next few hours or few days ) to discuss the situation... note that Delores is still available should you like her style or voice better.. She seems to have an Empathic soul so that can be helpful...... thereafter your will get communication from one or both, mainly your attorney slated to be your representative to the Court... my attorney, Said Argomand seemed quite connected and knowledgeable... and most importantly Professional and aware of your options and a strategy for you .. in my case it was a long term wait the process out approach - which worked quite well... No issues whatsoever with the Office manger / case manager Delores or the Attorney involved in my case - Said Argomand! professional help and very informed / knowledgeable !! at a reasonable price/cost. . don't be frightened by the remote set up. . it still works very well and they are readily available via phone should you. be nervous or frightened at the whole process .., give them a call and ask for them by name !! read more

Had a DUI from out-of-state, and the lawyer got me a plea deal, I signed it and mailed it back. 2 months later I get a letter saying I've got a warrent out for my arrest. Apparently the lawyer went AWOL and never turned in my plea deal​. They assigned me a new lawyer and he asked if I wanted to continue with the plea deal and if he had my permission to turn it in signed with my name. What he didn't tell me was it was a different plea deal that was horrible and added a bunch of other stipulations. I asked him for any paperwork on the final charges and he said there was none, I only found out about the other stipulations because my community service place needed my court paperwork and I had to pay $1 to get it emailed to me from the court, which is when I found out I was supposed to go to a certain treatment facility within 60 days, and it was already passed the 60 days when I got the paperwork.
