" I had called (June 23, 2022) to get a windshield replaced after it cracked badly. I went in to get a small crack repaired last fall and Cory, the worker, said not to worry as it won't get worse. Well, it did get worse. I would not need a windshield now had he done his job right. So I called to see how they could make it right, AND, I was not looking for a free job. Mason did not listen and started to tell me how cracks are created and so on, weaseling his way out of it. No worries, I said thanks and hung up. He then started to email me about how I should take the sucker out of my mouth and so on. So I called him an ahole, which is my opinion, and he kept sending disturbing emails. ***SCAM SCAM SCAM*** I've always been cautious of these car wash auto glass repair spots and now my intuition has been confirmed. Small crack on my windshield which I knew had to be correct asap as to not have it spread. Went to get my weekly car wash and got the sales pitch. I decided to let the "professionals" take care of it, as I bought an at home repair kit but had no experience. The worker Justin did a below average job on the repair but I didn't care I just didn't want the crack to spread and end up having to buy a new windshield. Day 2 I noticed the crack started spreading, immediately went back to the worker Justin and expressed my concern. He ASSURED me the crack wouldn't spread and so I bite my tongue and took his word for it. Less than a week later the crack spread over 4 inches and I immediately went back to the worker Justin and again expressed my anger. His response, sorry we can refund the insurance the money but can't fix your windshield or replace it, even though there was a "lifetime guarantee" on the deal. He called his boss, also Justin and had him on speaker explaining my situation. They said they could give me a discount on a windshield but that was about it. I didn't have time and asked the worker to have Justin email and call me later in the day. End of the work day comes and I didn't hear a word. So I called the boss Justin and said hey it's Ricardo how are we going to fix this problem, he replied with Ricardo who. I explained to him Justin spoke to him on the phone earlier that day again his response was I haven't spoken to him all day. I was thrown back, I told him I was there when you spoke to him, I heard what you said which he then decided to respond with I've never heard of you and hung the phone up on me. Let's talk about how unprofessional this company is, how they promise a lifetime warranty but use a play on words to slime their way out of it. Justin and his team have been nothing but a headache and unfortunately for them, they upset the wrong customer. Well Justin seems to be a nice guy and response fast, I have a tiny rock chip on my windshield, so i sent request on yelp to several repair shops and Justin was the first one replied and offered to come to my office, and he showed up on time and was nice and all However here I have to give only two star is because the repair job he did was pretty bad in my perspective. The chip size was so tiny so I would expect a good result, I know it won't be perfect but the chip should at least be hard to detect afterwards. But it was not, after his repair, I have a bigger, white spot on my windshield, and it is worse than before makes me feel like I should not have repaired it. Justin told me in advance the after results won't be completely invisible, ok I understand but not like this? A big white spot on my wind shield that I can observe from 6 feet away...? Her told me he used best quality resin but it doesn't seems to be the case, he also drilled a bit more around the chip maybe that's how the after results got bigger spot I donno if I'm asking too much for the result , but I will have to take it to another shop and see if they can fix this poor repair... :( because every time I see that white spot it drives me nuts! I wanted to give only 1 star but I m adding one more star for the fast response :/ read more

Saturday morning I woke up to find my car had been broken into. The back passenger window compeletely shattered. I called Cal Auto Glass after comparing prices to other companies. They were able to send an installer to my apartment complex hours later with a new window. They also vacuumed all the broken glass in my car and provided a warranty on the installation. Called Justin after getting my windshield chipped by a stray rock going through a construction zone on the 5. Justin was friendly, prompt and super fast - he was at my office in Del Mar within 2 hours of my call. Upon inspection, he also found another chip in my windshield and repaired that as well (cost of repair is per windshield, not per chip, so I guess I got my money's worth by having multiple chips).
