If there are events in the town (festival, fair, "fairy tale sunday",...) the pub ist jam-packed. On these days, forget chatting and join the party! In the evenings, it may happen, that there no more Kebap is available. This happens, if the spit from the morning is used up. I mention that the meat lasted all the way through my sandwich because in the States, the meat is literally on top and the rest is veggies. When I go here the next time, I am showing them what a Doener SHOULD look like. It was still hot in Frankfurt when I visited a few weeks ago, so we sat outside to catch the breeze. It might be worth it to look for a better kebab in Heidelberg though.
