It is not in a main area of town, so unless you know about it, it would be unlikely you would go out of your way to eat there . However, you really should! This place is that good. Every dish I have had here is great. The pizza is Italian style thin crust and delicious. My favorite is the diablo (not sure the name but it's the spicy one). The last time I was there I had the grilled squid special and it was great! The prices are very fair and their drink selection is good for all tastes. I highly recommend this place. If you decide to try it, make sure you call in for a RESERVATION, this place gets busy!

We were lucky enough to get a table. It was busy when we arrived but we were seated quite quickly and had menus in our hands. The service here is super friendly and welcoming. They have a normal menu and a daily specials board. I ordered the Bärlauch Rissotto with fish for my main and it was very nice. We also had a nice bottle of Italian wine. The ingredients were fresh and well cooked. The flavours were intense and did not need anything else added to it. The ambience is quite nice and its not very noisy either. The interior is well done and all the tables had nice white tablecloths on them and so on. Whilst it looks like an upmarket place, the prices are not. I would happily come back here again for a meal. A nice place for dinner in Wurzburg.

Mariella, the lovely waitress, has all the offerings in her memory and she recites them to every customer! I highly recommend the minced beef rolled up in pasta (as a starter) and the ravioli with ruccola and pesto as the main course. If you can manage a dessert, then of course it goes without saying that the tirimasu is the one to go for. If Italian food is your thing, then a trip to La Rosa in Kitzingen is in order. I had a lunch menu which included a salad, a ravioli-type pasta lunch special with asparagus filling in a light creamy lemon sauce, and a hazelnut cream dessert. My kids had the bolognese and shared a tiramisu. Everything was delicious. We did not try wine for lunch but the menu looks good. Also a trip to the bathroom transports you into another world to do your thing accompanied by a disco ball, party lights and dance music. For dinner, I recommend making reservations in advance. It will be worth it and is a great place for date night!
