I went to Carpet City based on a reference. The gentleman who helped write up the order to replace…read moreall the carpeting in our home was pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable, and he guided us in making decisions. The carpet looks good, but you will need to wary of some details before signing on: 1. Be sure that when they measure for the amount of carpeting to order that you ask them to be sure it will be enough. I didn't, and we had to wait almost 3 weeks for the job to be completely finished once it was started. 2. Let them determine how much they will charge you to move the furniture in your home, and don't go out of your way to move furniture, rent a pod, or try to help. We did, and we broke our backs to move out as much as we could, and got no consideration on that particular charge. 3. Be sure that the quote includes the tax before you accept and schedule the installation, and you won't be surprised in the end. 4. If they tell you they are sending 3 strong guys over to move the big furniture, you may be surprised when that's not who shows up. 5. If you're planning on painting the walls in your home as you renovate, be sure to do it after the carpet has been installed. We ended up with scratches on the newly painted walls all around the house from the carpet being moved around as they installed it, something that they could not help because of the amount of carpet they were putting down, but a consideration that you might want to keep in mind. These are a few of the glitches that made our experience unpleasant when all was said and done.

The owner of this business Fagnant Carpets installed my kitchen floor. He hacked it up so badly…read morethat I had to call an attorney to get some of my money back. I had to have the entire floor ripped up and redone. Lenny (the owner) blamed me for the mistakes he made. Saying the more I look at it I will just get used to all the 1 inch gaps all around my door frames (5) and thresholds, which he filled with red wood puddy that did not even come close to matching my oak floor!. He should have under cut the door frames and slide the laminate underneath. But no Lenny cut it 1 inch away from all the frames and edges of the floor. It looked horrible. I cried. He refused to redo it saying that I didn't understand a floating floorand was testy with me and giving me an attitude. I took pictures and people were horrified at the job that Fagnant Carpets did. It took Fagnant one day to install and ruin the floor but it took another contractor 4 days to fix it. Fagnant over charged me drastically for a small kitchen. $1541.29 to be exact and would only return $500. Which I had to use to pay the another contractor to fix it. Who by the way did an incredible job!!!! My floor now looks fantastic! Would I ever recommend Fagnant Carpets for anything? HELL NO!!!! Well unless you want a hack job........If I had to rate Fagnant Carpets with 1 out of 5 stars......I would give them a negative 5. Horrible job, terrible customer service on the owners part, poor satisfaction, ugh I could go on..
