I wish that I could give Caitlin more than 5 stars, because she deserves it. Caitlin is an absolutely incredible photographer and she really goes above and beyond. She did our Engagement photos, which were pure perfection, and she photographed our 11/4/17 wedding. The engagement and wedding photos are absolutely stunning. I could not be more pleased. Our wedding itself was wonderful, but the whole thing felt like a dream. Without the photos, I feel like I wouldn't have the memories that I do now. We look through the photos and can re-live all of the moments that were so special. Caitlin is kind, thoughtful, professional, artistic, friendly, funny, and such a pleasure to work with. She makes you wish you were best friends with her because she is that enjoyable to hang out with. We have had SEVERAL wedding guests and bridal party members telling us that our photos are breathtaking and our photographer was so amazing as a person. Just the other day, nearly 6 months after my wedding, someone said "your photographer was so cool". That is the truth. Also, if you're a nerd like me, Caitlin will absolutely embrace that. Our Engagement photos included wands, comic books, a Nintendo DS, which were all received by Caitlin with excitement and incorporated in such cool ways! You will not be disappointed if you hire Caitlin for your wedding or whatever event you need captured. It is very clear that Caitlin has a lot of experience with both photography and photographing weddings. She knows what will looks good, which is important because I have no idea what will look good. She also understands timelines of how weddings work and is able to accommodate whatever you need or want done. She is able to go with the flow, and change timelines, but she is also excellent at keeping you on track and making sure that you are where you need to be when you need to be there (like I said, you get more than just an fabulous photographer). If you are on the fence, just look at her photos and they speak for themselves. Then add the wonderful person on top of that gorgeous photography and she can't be beat. I have nothing negative to say about her or her work. She get an A+, 100%, and an Outstanding on her O.W.L.s (I had to throw a Harry Potter joke in there). Caitlin is incredible. She is the perfect mix of friendly & professional; she explained her packages and her process in a straightforward and clear manner which was super refreshing in a generally stressful wedding planning experience. Before our engagement session we were nervous since neither of us had ever had our photos taken professionally. Caitlin made us feel comfortable right away. She taught us a couple of poses and made us feel like we knew what we were doing, and that we didn't look ridiculous. Her eye for composition & lighting made for truly gorgeous photographs. Between our engagement session and wedding day we received a couple of unexpected and totally thoughtful packages from Caitlin. Everything she creates has this incredibly personal touch and you truly feel like your big day is the most important to her, not just "another job." I honestly can't say enough nice things about her work on our actual wedding day. She kept us on schedule and was incredible at getting everyone and everything in place. Her presence made us feel at ease, and we knew our big day, as well as our future memory of it, were in the best hands possible. We were so excited to win a free engagement session with Caitlin! She was very accommodating to our busy schedules and drove up to Portland so we could catch the last bit of fall foliage! We were not quite sure what to expect when it came to what kind of pictures we should take for an engagement shoot, we won the session just 4 days after our proposal! But Caitlin took us in stride and did a great job capturing us as a couple. She even quickly added in a note I brought along and wanted to take a picture with! Not only did we love the pictures she sent us, they came a week after she took them, only 1 week people! That is amazing! When we wanted to get one of the shots on a canvas she was quick to notice something that was going to get cut off and consulted with me before making the change. Caitlin photographed my maternity pictures and it didn't stop there! I have since hired Caitlin for family portraits, my best friend's bridal shower, recommended her to three friends getting married (all who hired and loved her) and had her do countless other small projects! I am pregnant and will be hiring her to do the next set of maternity photos! I have been able to witness Caitlin taking a variety of photos and have found her to be friendly, personable and really just a total delight. Working with Caitlin was one of the best choices that I made with my wedding planning! Caitlin was an absolute blast to work with! She takes unbelievable pictures and always makes you feel so comfortable and the poses she puts you in are very natural and make for wonderful pictures! When my fiancé proposed it was at the Jackson falls in Jackson nh. An Absolute beautiful place so when it came time to do our engagement pictures I wanted them done there so badly but we live 2.5 hours away! After doing some stalking from seeing a maternity shoot done at the falls I found Caitlyn. We were hoping to do our pictures In the fall but weather wasn't on our side.
