No crazy angles or overdone processing, just well composed photos that look great. Amy was an absolute pleasure to work with, she's super nice and willing to accomodate your needs and budget. During the ceremony you didn't know she was there taking great shots. She also got great smiles out of our friends and family, you can tell she's been doing this for a while. As a geek, I was also extremely excited that she provided all our pictures on DVD's in multiple different formats so I could do some processing of them on my own, when I get the time.

We were undecided on a place to take bride and groom photos after our ceremony. Margaret went out of her way and to help us find the perfect spot with an amazing view! On our wedding day Margaret arrived early and got right to work finding a perfect spot to photograph my dress! Come wedding day, I found her directing us effortlessly in those poses and others that made us feel like models! My mom is also into photography and couldn't help but take pictures of us throughout the day. He is there for all the important moments, interacting with your family, friends and with the bride and groom for HOURS. From the moment we spoke we felt comfortable and at ease with Christine. Christine checked in with us throughout our pregnancy and let us know of any commitments she had on the horizon. Due to the nature of birth sometimes, we were unable to call Christine to make it in time for our urgent c-section, Christine offered a fresh 24/48 shoot and a welcome home shoot for us in place of the the birth photos. Christine was so positive and supportive during her time with us, especially while we were home with our chaotic toddler and young children, Christine didn't miss a beat and was truly able to capture each of my kids in all their precious innocent glory. Im a bit (only two years) late in writing this review but better late than never, right?…read more I didn't want photos to be cumbersome, I just wanted to enjoy my wedding day. Joan was recommended to me by a friend and I never actually met her until my wedding day, but she immediately felt like an old friend there to enjoy our special day with us. She made me (and my husband, who is camera shy) feel comfortable in front of her camera, which I know isn't always easy. Taking pictures didn't feel like a chore because we spent the whole day laughing (and crying) while taking them. She captured the most special day of my life so beautifully and I will forever cherish those memories. Joan sent us sneak peeks the night of the wedding which of course prompted more tears. She sent a few more teasers along the way and then we had the full gallery within a month of our wedding day. By the time she was done editing there were still 600+ of them and somehow even with that many - each photo told a story. I printed some for a photo album and before I knew it I had 400+ prints so it's clear I loved her work. I highly recommend Joan for any event!
