First, they were riddled with errors - that were so obvious that within 2 minutes of us looking at them we had to make corrections FOR THEM! We had also had a move for medical reasons and we asked them to follow up on this - they essentially refused but only after they told us our taxes were finished. They told us our only option was to pay them MORE money and they would arbitrate with the IRS - took our taxes elsewhere saved us thousands and thousands of dollars! All because they wouldn't even bother to see if we qualified for an exemption. Lazy and unmotivated to take care of their clients.

I set up my Initial meeting with my tax strategist and we spent about 10 mins and he said he was not able to provide any strategy for me. They said they would apply the 4,000 towards tax preparation which I was fine with. Then when I tried to get my taxes prepared they were behind and unable to do them In time. I asked for a refund so I could go somewhere else and they refused. They didn't prepare my taxes. They didn't give me any tax strategies and said they aren't going to refund my money. It took me months and I fought tooth and nail with them and my credit card company finally refunded my $4,000 they tried to keep without providing service. Years later I get an email saying there is an invoice in my account when I have not engaged in business with them in over 2 years. I own a small business and have real estate investments. The Tax Strategy I received from Provision was a complete waste of $4,000…read more Before signing up for the Tax Strategy service I discussed my business with their Client Relation Manager Brad Doran. I explained my current tax strategy and he assured me there are better strategies available for my business, so I signed up with them to learn this "new" strategy. Fast Forward to the end of the process and Provision tells me the exact same strategy I was already using. Complete waste of money. I attempted to resolve the matter with Provision several times and they agreed to refund a portion of the cost. After constant lying and dragging of their feet, they said they had "closed it out" and never refunded any of the cost. If you are interested in getting a tax strategy, just contact a local CPA that is familiar with your type of business and they will be able to advise you for much cheaper than $4,000.

In fact, I would like to put a special thank you to Sharon Orosco, who has made me full more than welcome in recent years as she has not only provided great service but made the effort to get to know me during the experience (over the last few years). The personal relationships they make with clients is what makes this location unique. I made my appointment less than a week ago at a time this weekend (today) when I had the availability, and the team was more than able and willing to make that work for me. Sharon (and the other team members) have done their research and shared with me answers to my many questions. They are also great at following up should I have a unique question that requires them to make a few phone calls and get back to me. One reason why they separated from Liberty Tax is so they can move their own direction with social media and marketing within our Phoenix area community. They have a presence on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/salamandertaxoffices) and hosts regular specials ($50 cash back through February 15, discounts through April 1, drawings/giveaways including Disneyland tickets and Spring Training tickets, and even a Cutest Pet Photo contest.
