The combo boxes actually had exceptionally nice items in them, so those are a very good and reasonably priced option. The restaurant is quite small inside and many people order takeaway. But on a rainy weekday evening it seemed to be a popular place to stay and eat as well. Service was fast and friendly, so will definitely return to sample more maki rolls!

We had ordered pretty much a little of everything they had, and I would say that this is amongst the best take away sushi I have had in a long time. Even though a salmon nigiri is pretty simple, there is just so much that can influence how good it tastes, and Iki did something to this, where I couldn't hold myself from wanting more of them. All of the sushi rolls felt like this. All of them. Now I am just looking even more forward to visiting the place next week.

Their sushi may not be the most inventive or authentic, but it is fresh as tasty, and at a slightly lower price than most of its competitors. Service is good, and there's definitely a good value for money proposition here. They even offer all-you-can-eat deals every day of the week (price is slightly higher on weekends, which is only fair). Their menus are also good value. Overall, Iki Sushi's places are our go-to-places for everyday sushi ('everyday sushi', what a first world concept!), on those nights when you feel the need to pamper yourself a bit, but isn't quite ready to go all in on one of the pricier options.

Me and my girlfriend went the for the "All you can eat" option which includes all varieties of sushi, small starters and lots of skewers and noodles etc. We got a card and a pen and we had to look into the menu and write down which things we wanted (up to 10 pieces per person each time- if you order let's say Uramaki the roll of sushi consists of 4 pieces= you have 6 pieces left to order). Each time they bring you the food you get a new card in case you want to eat more. The max 10 pieces per order is a good way of avoiding food waste and I totally respect this place for doing it. Let's say a little about the food now. We tried many many different kinds of sushi from Futomaki, to Nigiri, Uramaki and Special Maki (managed to fill out the card three times) and all were super delicious. My favourite roll is the Hawaii roll! Yummi! We also order some of the warm options like tempura onion rings, spring rolls, chicken skewers and noodles. The onion rings were amazing- they have a super crunchy texture because of the panko which is the Japanese bread crumb. Every single things we ordered was beautifully places and the plate and the warm things put in lovely small plates or bowls. The staff was very friendly and happy to help with any questions. I can only say good things about this place. Will be back FOR SURE.

Work with web development, so saw afterwards that it was because I added a country code to my phone number. The guy, who needed to speak English since he could not understand Norwegian, told me how well it worked instead of asking what did not work. I told him very clearly: Give me the time for when the sushi is ready, so I don't have to stand there and wait. Already used enough time on your website. He say okay, it was ready in 20 minutes. I come there after 30 minutes just to be sure, and a manager called "Dave" presents himself. He wants to have a meeting with me. - Meeting? I just want my food, as very clearly explained during the call. He thinks my tone in the call was "abusive" I'm thinking "Abusive? Because you failed to take my order 5 times, and your web did not work? My co-workers sat next to me and praised me for how patience I was with you.. And here you are, calling me abusive as the first think when I walk in tot he restaurant.... " "well, I just want my food" I told him, giving him my card. But he did not want to charge it, he kept talking: - Do you want a meeting with our IT guy? - No, I want my food. Can I have my food? - Do you want a meeting with me and the other manager, I would love to sort this situation with you? - No, I want my food. Can I have my food? - I think your tone is very abusive.. Are you being abusive? - No, I want my food. Can I have my food? At this point, I almost left the place. Lot´s of people in the line, and after saying for the 5th time - "I'm not interested in having any discussion with you, I just want my food, stop talking to me" He asked again: - Anything I can do for you? - Yes, give me my food!!! After he left, someone else came and gave me my food and charged me. This so called "manager" is the most annoying person I have ever met in my entire life.
