The hardest part was actually getting echo in the bathtub! There are harnesses attached to a rail so he couldn't move very much. After his bath, Echo was given a treat since he was so well behaved. I'm sure we'll be back when he's ready for another bath and we have time to give him one! Haha!

Pet Supplies Plus - Homewood, Alabama 421 Green Springs…read moreHighway Homewood, AL 35209 On May 20, 2026, around 6:53 p.m., we went to Pet Supplies Plus in Homewood to buy an all-animal wound and skin product for one of our dogs who had a place on her little ear. Madison welcomed me to the store and asked if I needed help. She was very nice, professional, and helpful. When I told her what I was looking for, she directed me right to it. Kayla, the manager, also helped me with questions I had about the product. She was very knowledgeable about the products they carry, and she was a really nice, professional manager. Her help gave me confidence in what we were buying. There was also a young man there whose name I did not get, but he smiled and made me feel comfortable. Sometimes in a pet store or any kind of store, I can feel unsure about exactly what we need to buy, but Madison and Kayla gave me great confidence. Wonderful service. Thank you very, very much. I highly recommend this Pet Supplies Plus. God bless ! Mark and Tim

Had a great experience with Seth at Ed's Pet World last Wednesday! I see several reviews that seem…read moreto be inconsistent, and I would like to address those reviews. First of all- the smell. Do you realize that this IS a pet store? It's GOING to smell. If it didn't smell at all, I would be concerned. Secondly--the heat. YES it's hot in there. It's hot in there for the animals purpose. If you are going in there, surely you have knowledge of reptiles and some fish. They require warmth. With as many heat lamps as these folks have, of course it's going to be fairly warm. Suck it up. Thirdly, the care of the animals. I read several talking about "subpar care" and "horrible living conditions." I would like to address this specifically-- A LOT of the animals in there are SURRENDERED in those conditions TO THE STORE. Imagine finding a rescued animal in bad shape, and you go and give it to them. It's not going to magically revive it's health and feel better. GIVE THEM A BREAK. Most of these reviews seem like they are from people who actually don't know a thing about rescue, surrender, or animals in general. Granted, there are a few things that need to change. Maybe it could be a tad cleaner, but I also try to give them grace that they are indeed trying to keep hundreds of animals alive. Seth was AWESOME. He was so genuinely kind, sweet and friendly. My son asked him several questions and the patience he showed my very inquisitive 8 year old was honestly so sweet and kind. Of course, I'll be back.

This store is horrible to say the least. It reeks of urine the second you walk through the doors! There weren't many pets from what I could tell. A few here and there. The fish tanks were filthy and the store as a whole! Many random objects. A giant Spider-Man was in the middle of the floor. So , so random. There also were some novelty, collectible type things present. Perhaps, they are transitioning away from being a pet store. I just didn't understand the overall theme of the store. Definitely unique. We did meet a cute parrot that had lots of personality! I think it's safe to say , we won't be back!

Here's another insightful review by my sidekick…read more I love to play fetch. And now I love the Fetch food truck too. My humans took me to Avondale Brewery on Saturday afternoon, and the Fetch truck was there. I didn't know there was such a thing. A food truck that is just for me and my four-legged friends! The truck is so cute. It is painted in pastel colors and decorated with huge paw prints. I couldn't wait to sniff it. There was a big bowl of water to quench my thirst. Ahh, that was refreshing. There was a table displaying a large selection of goodies. I wanted to try everything! My humans picked out a decorated cupcake for me, and it was delicious! I wish they had bought more. The lady behind the little window was really nice. She gave me a dog treat. I can't wait to see the truck again. You can find the truck's schedule on their website. Signed, Macey the Golden Pup
