Had a great steak there and it was cooked rare like I asked for, have not found that too often here yet. I had the beef platter served on a wooden board with bacon, veggies, and mashed potatoes! I was going to save the bacon for later, but couldn't :) I do have steak for tomorrow though!
Bought a half bottle of red wine much cheaper by the glass that way. The restaurant is on an adorable street in Helsingor. There are others to choose from as well, but this is a nice place and there were plenty of people there. My friend had the curry soup and she ate every last drop. She's was hoping today's soup was the Curry. So I think she'd recommend it.
I've noticed in a couple of restaurants that you have to order at the bar and pay and then they'll bring the food over when it's ready. This is one of those places. It's a bit unusual, but not a big deal. I only gave it 3 stars because it is franchisey (it is a small chain I think) and the decor is only so-so and the meal selection wasn't diversified enough for me for regular entrees.
Neat idea is that you can before or after dinner walk right around the Kronborg Slot (castle). Work off some calories, go to the mall, and eat! read more
