First a foremost, the coffee here is amazing. I got a Caffe Freddo with Carmel and it just hit the spot with this amazing summer weather. Caffe Freddo is basically just an iced coffee (coffee poured over ice) but the coffee did not taste watered down at all. The coffee was smooth and so so tasty, I'm considering going back for a second before catching my train to Berne! Lucerne itself is so beautiful so when I saw they had swinging chairs and windowed walls that completely open, it was like a fairytale come true! I also had a slice of their tropical mousse cake. The bottom layer was a coconut meringue that was topped with a thin layer of sponge cake, that was then layered with a vanilla (I believe) mousse - another layer of thin sponge cake, and then a thick layer of passion fruit & mango mousse. All I have to say is: WOW. It was so much lighter than I expected and really was the best pair to a hot summer's day. If you ever find yourself in Lucerne, even if it's just for a couple of hours, this place is a short walk from the train station and I promise you won't regret it!

My brother witnessed this employee making fun of me with the other employees, mocking me asking where the restaurant was. This type of behavior is rather juvenile and extremely unacceptable. I highly recommend extra training for your employees, since they cannot treat people with human decency and respect. Is this really the kind of employees that Starbucks employs? Disgusting and abhorrent behavior, absolutely inexcusable. So glad I never spent money at this establishment.
