Perfect for a hot summer visit in December or January! The food was terrific, I enjoyed a delicately flavored Coronation Chicken starter followed by a tender, tasty entre of beef with green lentils and delicious warm beetroot. The home made lemonade is worth ordering as well. Spanish and English language menus available for the lingusitically challenged (like me)! We were given a wonderfully warm reception by Cecile Latham-Koenig. You won't regret eating here, you'll be talking about how much you enjoyed the experience.

Our waiter spoke English, was kind enough to answer our many questions on the menu and provide recommendations. I had a Pisco sour (because you can't go to Chile without trying that cocktail out). I don't do very well with sourness in cocktails, but I thought that it was excellent, and barely sour at all. Then my husband had the shark with fries and fried eggs, and I had the pork. Both were delicious, but beware, portions are huge! Both dishes were extremely good. Overall a very pleasant experience, I would recommend this restaurant if you happen to be in the Santa Isabel neighborhood, it's only 2 blocks away from the metro.

There's one pizza that has some spicy peppers on it, which are actually super spicy - probably enough to kill most Chileans (although I appreciated the spice!). They have a good drink selection too and I don't recall being offended by the prices either. Definitely a good place to check out in Barrio Italia!
