Wander around Zürich long enough on a Sunday morning and you'll eventually find a coffee shop that is open and welcoming. That's what happened to me when I found Café Neumärt on a cold November morning after skipping past the green siren people.
I was warmly welcomed at the counter and offered to choose any seat in the restaurant. Not long after, a coffee with milk arrived and it was delicious. There are newspapers to read but I stuck with the news on my phone and worked out where I was headed next after I was appropriately awake from coffee.
There's more going on here - a full kitchen and bakery - but coffee was all I needed this morning.
