I got the nutella hot chocolate and it was so good! Very warm, comforting, not too sweet, and a good quantity to share. The ham and brie sandwich was pretty good, generous portion. I also had some bites of the chili hot dog and it was ok. A very quiet spot, you could study or work here pretty easily. The service was also good, the guy at the cash was alone but he was fast and efficient.

I've been here twice already after I was recommended to visit itby a local shop keeper. The choice of wines here is outstanding. For example, they have 4 orange wines to choose from. Can't say that about most restaurants I've been to. Plus, they have a table d'hôte with 3 services for only 17$! I also really enjoy the staff here. The one waitress I've been served by has been chill and really knowledgeable. I will definitely be back here on a Friday or Saturday evening when they host a live jazz band starting at 7PM.

This review is based on the 3 times I visited this place…read more First of all, it's a nice coffee/restaurant where you can enjoy a little meal, a coffee or a drink, or sit there studying with no problem. Unfortunately i've only been going there at night, so can't comment on the natural light, but it's a bit dark at night. Studying with computers is OK, but reading is quite tricky. Food is not too bad, i would give it a 4/5. It's a bit understaff I find, and we've been waiting for a long time for our checks, for the guy to pass by again to order an extra item. I would recommend it for a snack/meal with a drink, I saw that on Fridays they have someone who comes in and play music !! It's a relax ambience. It's 15$ for their table d'hôte (without desert) which is really not bad !! I enjoyed their chili (10$ on regular menu) and their table d'hôte that is different (menu du jour) everytime I went. My friend liked her salade chèvre chaud ! It did not get 4 because of the service.

It is located in a very nice area with a beautiful market near it which is perfect for walks, especially during the summer. The coffee shop itself is beautiful, very nice seating area and a lot of space. It is perfect if you want to study because it's very cosy, but it's also good if you're grabbing lunch quickly or coffee on the go. I have tried their smoked salmon sandwich and a kale/beet salad which were both very delicious. The only issue I had was the price, I thought it was a bit pricier than other coffee shops or places where you can grab lunch quickly. Despite that, I can understand since it's a local coffee shop and everything they have is high quality and fresh. Their iced coffee is more of an iced cappuccino with crushed ice... So if you want something liquid like coffee with ice, I would recommend getting an iced latte. It was delicious, and they had a lot of options for people like me who are lactose intolerant (almond milk, soy milk, lactose-free, coco milk, oat milk, etc.) The staff is extremely nice. They're very knowledgeable and incredibly helpful. The first time I went there, the girl explained everything to me and how the café started and she looked very passionate which showed me that she liked her job. The only issue I'd have with this place is their opening hours. During the winter, if you're planning on late-night studying there, it doesn't open as late as other coffee places, but that's to be expected with local coffee shops like this one.

Very cute café, as well. Looks like a great place to work. Highly recommend the tourn'oeuf (breakfast sandwich). Excellent combo of flavors. This was the best breakfast sandwich I've ever had. The breakfast platter was very good as well, a sampler of flavorful things. Although we decided the baguette was not the best we've ever had. Gave this platter an A-. We also got the sandwich au jambon which was good, but could've been better with better flavor combos. Still great quality. Loved the ham here. Also highly recommend the chai latte.
