I don't usually like salads, but I felt like I needed some greens after eating heavy Belgian food. We decided to go with the mixed salad with ham, and I'm so glad we did! This salad deserves 5 stars honestly. The dressing was amazing, and the ham added a nice salty touch. For pastas, we got the spaghetti with spicy Calabrian sausage and burrata and the ravioli with osso buco. The pastas were definitely cooked al dente - I preferred the spaghetti. The ravioli had good flavor, but it was sitting in so much oil that I couldn't eat too many. It was a solid meal overall, but I didn't think the pastas were anything life-changing. Great place if you're craving some Italian food though!

They took the Covid restrictions very seriously and because I had a US card it was a bit of a challenge to prove I was vaccinated but was done all very politely. The three of us had fabulous meals. It took a bit long to get our entrées but they were busy and it was a Friday night. We did get a bread basket but rather late so I'm not sure if that's a standard to get a bread basket or it was because our entrées were late. We met the owner and his wife both very friendly and delightful people. Our server was great. I wanted to surprise my boyfriend and his daughter and pay for dinner so the server took care of that for me. My boyfriend had grilled shrimp and his daughter had the Arrabbiata Sauce and pasta. I had the spinach and ricotta pasta. We shared a speculoos tiramisu that was absolutely amazing! Highly recommend this restaurant.

The servers just stood around and talk to each other, right next to our table sometimes, instead of doing any of their work. And, in a first for me in Germany, the beers were poured about an inch short of the legal measuring line. (beers in Germany have to be poured up to the mark that matches the size such as .3L, etc) I thought that was illegal? The decor is cheesy, kind of like a Pizza Hut. This place is highly un-recommended. (Though it did seem popular with over-70 set.)
