Volkscafé De Cam is part of the same complex as Geuzestekerij De Cam. The café serves the brews of the Stekerij: Lambiek, Kriêkenlambiek, and Guis (note I spelled these in the local Gooik dialect as they appear on the menu). The Kriêkenlambiek is delicious with sour cherry flavors. The De Cam Oude Geuze is very nice, with refreshing flavors. read more

I wish I was at Café De Cam right now!! About 20 minutes ( I might be a little off on the time) outside of Brussels, Café De Cam serves local food and beers from De Cam brewery which is on the property as well as some other local breweries. We went specifically for the De Cam beers and OMG they were soo good. They have different ones based on what's in season or available but we had the framboise kreik and WOW!! They are also pretty cheap which is a bonus. The whole menu is in Dutch, It is available online if you want to look on their website then use Google translator before you get there, We had T-Mobile and the service their was non existent to do it while there. I did remember them having a ham sandwich from the day before so we each ordered one of those and shared a beef stew. All the food was quite good! read more
