The inside is also spacious and looks really charming and inviting. It's just a beautiful setting for a meal surrounded by gorgeous old buildings and cobblestone streets and square. The menu here is quite good and lots of classical German food options from the area. They have a daily specials list and some dessert options. They have a variety of beers and drinks including Alt and Kölsch beer from the area. Our waitress was very friendly and engaging and we were all happy with our meal. I had the schnitzel and it was quite ok. Portion was decent and the food was cooked well. My creme brûlée was also quite nice with a thick crunch layer of sugar on top :-) I would happily come here again. It's a beautiful cafe in a stunning location.

The tuna fish and deli chicken baguettes were hearty, filling, and delicious. In addition, they serve bagels, muffins, an item of the day, various drinks (alcoholic and not), muffins, fresh waffles, and CAKES! Cakes looked really wonderful (apple, blueberry cream, cheesecake, nut chocolate, etc) and appear to be a real draw but we resisted.
