I'm pleased to report that Beyer Deli was everything you said it was. Thanks Yelpers!…read more Now that's a sandwich! The hours may be a little skimpy, but the meats are bountiful...pause. A little off the beaten path...yes Selective hours while you're probably working...yeah Worth an extended lunch to grab one of these sandos...Absolutely! Dena and the crew are putting together some seriously delicious and well-thought-out, stacked sandos. While you won't be getting a footlong roll, the sizable portion of fillings makes for an excellent meat to bread ratio. And speaking of bread, while most of the sandwiches come on a fresh torta roll, you also have your choice of sourdough, wheat, rye, squaw, French roll, wrap, or croissant. Now that's wassup. What I tried on this visit: The New Yorker and The Italian Both sandwiches were absolutely fire. I started with the Italian and the first thing I noticed was the beautiful, shimmering, thinly sliced red onion. The shine on the veggies immediately let me know they were perfectly dressed with oil and vinegar. Upon separating the two halves to reveal the innards, layers upon layers of freshly sliced meats were waiting to be devoured. First bite...ecstasy. Not only were the veggies dressed, they were also seasoned. The combination of the flavorful proteins, tasty veggies, and fluffy torta, were a HIT! This sandwich was juicy in all the right ways. My only wish is that I would have substituted the American cheese with more provolone or swiss. Moving on to The New Yorker...Hello Pastrami!! Bomb, bomb, bomb. Both the corned beef and the pastrami were smackin' on this hot sando. Wonderfully tender, lean, flavorful proteins were packed inside this torta for absolute deliciousness. I wish I had one right now. The only thing that would have made this better was some horseradish mustard. Along with sandwiches there are breakfast items including bagels and a burrito, salads, soups, chips, and a famous brownie. Unfortunately, the brownies were sold out by the time I arrived, but I'll definitely pick one up the next time they're available. Great pickles, free parking, a few outside tables, and some inside seating rounds out the experience. Call ahead to minimize the wait. Thanks Dena and crew! I'll be back!!!

I had the New Yorker and when I asked I didn't know what brea to pick so I was recommended sourdough with provolone cheese. I devoured the sandwich it was so good. Everyone here is so nice with service and the customer in mind. You can tell they remember the returning customers when someone comes in to pick up an order and they mention, "you remember" pertaining to a specific way they like an order. Heads up, it's cash only

I first came here two years ago with friends. I was inviting a group of five, so I decided to order…read morethe parillada. This dish is more of a grill served at our table, and it came with a variety of meats: various beef cuts as well as sausages. For dessert, I had the flan, which was slightly sweeter than I usually have them, but it was delicious. We were sat at a larger table on the second floor, which felt like being back home in my dining room. It was semi-private, which was nice. This time around, I came with the girlfriend. After driving for 30 minutes from TJ's Zona Rio, we arrived at this fine restaurant in Rosarito. Parking was along the main avenue, at the front of the building. We walked in, and we were sat on the first floor. I ordered steak, medium, as did the girlfriend. Our sides were garden salad, and cheese fondue. I ordered some coffee and lemonade on mineral water, which were both okay. Our dessert was an order of empanadas. I liked the beef empanadas the best, followed by the ones with cheese. Personally, I prefer the parillada over the individual steak plate, but both hit the spot well. This is a decent Argentinian grill in the city of Rosarito. Come check them out.

Everything about this experience is going to get us to return. Impeccable customer service with every request being met. The fire pit- asador is in the clear view, watching the grill master was an added treat to the dining. The asado tradicional is meant for two but there was plenty of food that finishes cooking at table side. Our extras included a baked potato, green salad, a beef empanada and a chorioan. The pacing of the food was well calculated and the bottle of magoni, Cabernet- Malbec from one of our favorite wineries fave it a special touch. Price is worth it! We will schedule another stop in our return
