We stumbled on this cafe one morning looking for breakfast nearby. They were advertising a few breakfast combos (e.g., coffee+croissant) on a sandwich board outside, so we decided to give it a try.
The inside is just a few small tables and a fairly large bar, but only in the way that every food establishment in Spain seems to heavily favor the bar. They have a menu in Catalan and English, and serve pastries, sandwiches, and a few other dishes.
I had an omelette sandwich, which was (as far as I could tell) a tortilla española in a baguette. As uninteresting as that sounds, it tasted incredible. My wife had the avocado toast with egg (hold the lox), and it looked delicious.
I would recommend this small cafe for a quick and tasty breakfast, or for a drink in the afternoon. read more
