I had linguini with meat and grana padano, a home made chocolate cake and prosecco. Both dishes were in perfect size and very delicious. I recommend this place if you are having a special or formal event happening such as birthday or business meeting.

My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed this quaint little cafe. We had wine, delicious potato pancakes…read morewith bacon and spinach, and two sweet treats; cinnamon pancakes and plum pie. The pancakes were to die for, therefor we returned the following evening for more, this time with hot fruit! Our bill was very cheap, the atmosphere is lovely and the staff seemed very sweet. I would recommend stopping by, especially to sit out in the garden. It does not appear to be a touristy place, which is very relaxing amongst all of the tourists in Prague. They also offer free wi fi which works well.

I'm only giving it an A-OK as there isn't anything spectacular on the menu or the decor etc to drag…read moreyou here specifically. I like the street etc and the area and its good value for the location. You will find Czech people here mostly for this reason. There is room to hang your coat and chill. There are no views so you wont be people watching in Prague and soaking it all in but if you need a rest and some wifi and time to read your book or just chill and use the bathroom then this is fine. The staff serve you and leave. No chit chatting etc. There is a smoking and non smoking section which really, why bother as you can smell the smoke all over the place anyway. I do like the ginger tea and my sandwich is the spicy toasty. My friend recently had the hot chocolate and said it was awful so I wont be trying that anytime soon. Ive been here about 6 or 7 times so for me its a hideaway and if I want some high end stuff I head to the Savoy with is about a 20 minute walk. The bathrooms are clean but no lock on any of the doors men or women and the locals dont seem to care which ones they use. That is the bit I don't like, at least put a lock on the door. The cake etc that is on show is not on the menu and therefore have no prices. I have heard people complain they were really over charged and taken back at how high these items were. The strawberries etc on some desserts were tinned or frozen so it didn't look that appetizing. The beer garden is seasonal obviously. On my most recent visit they said no cards only cash. I have used cards here before so ????

The cafe was pretty crowded with people working on laptops and miscellaneous other projects, and of course lots of kids around. There weren't as many chairs as there were tables, probably because they were moved around by the bigger groups already there. For the size of the space they could definitely use more tables and chairs. There were a couple of waiters running around between tables but service was so slow (read, nonexistent for us) that after waiting about 15 minutes we just went to the counter and ordered our tea. I liked the atmosphere here, it was small but cozy and filled with locals. I would go back here but from where I live it's more like an adventure getting all the way over there! Worth the trip though.

The main bar and second room were closed for a private party but they were seating patrons in a third, smaller room. The room was warm and welcoming - we sat at an empty table and perused the menu. Our server was very personable and answered our questions about the various drinks. She took our order and returned fairly quickly with our drinks - bubbling away. This was such a fun way to enjoy your drinks. I got the Lady Kelley's Breakfast Drink and hubby got a coffee. They served a side of water with his coffee that was bubbling. The server gave us a warning not to touch the dry ice and left us to it. I loved my drink - fruity and fun - served in a flask and bubbling like it came right from a chemistry set. I would definitely return if we make it back to Prague.
