A small, modern and popular bar, kept very clean and tidy by its fastidious (but friendly) owners, close to the main town square, and usually open late into the evening (although like a lot of Spanish places, it seems to vary by how busy they are). The interior is a little soulless for my tastes, but it's fine for a drink or light snack when shopping, as it's right in the centre of town, as the name suggests. There's also a TV showing music videos, sports, etc.
As well as a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, they serve a wide range of Spanish bar food pasta, salads, hot and cold sandwiches, burgers, Serrano-style ham, cheeses and pâtés. They also claim to serve 'Autèntic Frankfurt Munich', which I think means authentic Munich-style frankfurter sausages, but I'm no expert on those, so can't really comment. But the food seems to be popular with the locals. read more
