What is not to love about this quaint, little coffee/tea house? I have to admit, given the lack of decor and the size of the place, I was very hesitant about going in. I am so glad my husband insisted on visiting this place.
The cafe appeared to be run by a happy, friendly elder gentleman. We had just arrived in Strasbourg, and it was pouring outside. He proceeded to give us tips about where to visit (and stay dry), what to eat, and the local delicacies. He spoke as he worked, and he even offered us chocolates to welcome us to the city!
My husband thoroughly enjoyed every sip of the coffee. The company was wonderful, and apparently, so was the depth of flavors in the small little hot cup!
If and when we visit Strasbourg again, this will be our first stop - mainly because of the cordiality of our new friend. Thanks for the memories! read more
