The only downside for me was the price.. $14 for a small rice and $10 for spring rolls felt a bit steep for a casual meal. That said, you definitely get what you pay for. If it were just a little more affordable, I'd probably be in there every day! Still, if you're after proper Chinese food in Batemans Bay that actually tastes like something, it's well worth a try.

It's a simple cafe serving simple food done right (think: burgers, chips, big hearty brekkies), and it seems like it the fills the "local's cafe" niche perfectly with a book swap, local papers and community board. Turns out the little spot has been open since 1928, so it's no wonder they have it down by now! If you're looking for a quick, cheap and cheerful lunch in Moruya, this is your spot. But after scoping out the breakfast menu, I'd say that's where you can do the most damage.
