I am a bit of an indian food conoseuir as I have the privilege of eating home made indian food (my partner is of pakistani origin), so I know when a curry is bland and tasteless. I also like my food spicy but genuine, none of this tikka masala rubbish which is about as spicy as Sporty Mel C or a made up vindaloo (OTT hot with no real flavour)... also the service is good and it has a nice atmosphere. The restaurant offers a set menu, something that has become a rarity nowadays, between 6pm-9pm Sunday to Thursday. The only downside is that the restaurant could do with a bit of redecoration. However, that is a very minor criticism. If you're looking for a place which offers excellent food at great value then this is the place!

I experienced great food, great service and just an all around great time. I started with papaddoms, a mulligatawny soup and Damsak chicken.
