The food was even delicious the next day. We even made a mental note that we want to come back at a different time of day and eat there again. Not being from the area, we found everything to be reasonably priced for a pretty Italian restaurant. It was the perfect way to end a meal with new and old friends. When coming into the store and pointing out the obvious flaws and undercooked pizza, two of your staff, a young gentleman and middle aged woman said I was lieing. I am happy to provide the videos. In the videos your staff claimed "you should of said you wanted it crispy" which I replied "I didn't want it crispy, I wanted it cooked". Which isn't too much to ask for. You are very clearly rushing out pizzas as fast as possible and this is effecting a business that I've been coming to for, I believe, 5 years. I was treated terribly. My social anxiety has hit a low point and that's because of your staff. It is currently 4:44 and I am unable to sleep because of the way I was treated tonight. I was called a liar and made to feel like my voice wasn't heard. I don't know if it was because of my disability and they thought they could take advantage or just the way the staff normally treats people. But I don't think this should be the way forward. I hope this is changed in the future.

Despite there always being a hub of activity going on at this establishment (due to the fact it's always packed), you just can't help feeling chilled out (maybe it's being so close to the sea?). They offer plenty of free newspapers and magazines for you to peruse over whilst waiting for your food, additionally you're made to feel welcome whether you're just having a coffee, ice cream or full blown meal. The food available is generally light (I'd definitely consider this place to be more of a café than a restaurant). The menu offers pizza, small pasta dishes, salads and a variety of Panini's, sandwiches and baguettes (which come with salad and crisps), all of which taste good and are well presented. It is the deserts however which are simply to die for! Sure the ice creams nice, but once you look at some of the cakes under the counter glass it'll be rather hard to resist (just don't think about the calories)! Verdi's doesn't take bookings, and even as early as March it can become very popular on the weekends. Best advice is to come as early as possible, but be prepared for a wait, which I can honestly say is well worth it!

I really enjoyed the atmosphere of Zia Nina's, appreciating the rugged wooden tables and chairs. How many times have you been p*ed off by a wobbly table whilst attempting to enjoy a meal? The tables were adorned with glass bottles of varying dimensions as candle holders - not unusual but I prefer them to a poxy tea light candle. Service was excellent, our drinks order was taken straight away and the waiters continued to check on us (also the sign of a profitable restaurant!). Menu - wide range of pasta dishes, chicken, steak, numerous starters and side dishes that you would expect in an Italian. I had the Pollo Bosco (around £11) which was essentially a generous portion of chicken breast with a creamy white wine sauce with garlic and mushroom. The meal was also served with cubes of fried potato, green beans and mushroom. I also enjoyed the house red, which was extremely drinkable ;) although I could only have the one glass as designated driver. All in all a very pleasant evening and I would definitely return soon to try something more adventurous!
