I'm back…read moreagain for my second visit in 4 days after confirming my suspicion that this Costa is the best cafe you can find in walking distance (and I've been happy to walk across cities for a good cafe). The coffee is good. The food is good. It's good that they have wifi, and it's good that service is fast and friendly. My favourite cafes all have more personality, but Costa does what they set out to do, and they do it well. they're my favourite coffee chain, put it that way. Oh, and their new autumn treats are alluring. Too alluring. I'll be back again soon, I'm fairly certain :)

While the food menu may be on the smaller side, the pastry case is chock-full of delicious coffeeshop goodies and the variety of carefully-selected coffee makes this every java-lover's caffeine-induced dream. Their lattes and teas are great, but what is truly worth splurging the calories on is their Iced Gelato Latte. It's not quite a latte, not quite a shake, but something in between, as it isn't blended, but has a hefty scoop of premium Italian gelato plopped right on top of some of the best quality coffee I've had thus far. The strong, robust flavor of the caffeine is perfectly balanced by the slightly-sweet creaminess of the vanilla gelato. The only thing I would say was off about this drink was the fact that, when drinking something thick with ice cream or gelato in it, one gets the urge to mix the liquid of the coffee with the slight solidity of the gelato, which is made more difficult by the big cubes of ice rolling around in there. It makes drinking it a bit awkward. So be sure to ask for a spoon!

Haven't tried their sangas yet but have heard good things from reliable sources and the staff are always friendly, as is the cute regular waiter whom I've yet to pluck the courage to flirt casually with... Overall, well worth a visit, though space is a premium.

I was very happy when I found out that a new coffee shop supplied by Allpress opened around the corner of my office. Since Bliss Coffee launched, I have been heading there for lunch about once a week. Besides coffee, they also have a small lunch menu, mostly sandwiches, but also some other dishes. The staff are very friendly and the place is bigger than it looks at first. It seems that Bliss Coffee quickly became a destination for locals either living or working in the neighbourhood. Before Bliss Coffee opened, I found it hard to get a good flat white in my lunch break. Using Allpress beans, I think they are definitely one of the best coffee shops in Wimbledon. If you like good coffee and are nearby, don't look any further.

The branch in Ealing Broadway is really nice, has school-like chairs and worn out sofas. A hipster's paradise. We went there twice for coffee and once for a quick lunch (today). Their coffee is nice, though from a place that makes such a big deal about having good coffee, I found that it was pretty average - nice but nothing to shout about. Their food looks lovely though, and I've tried their halloumi and Aubergine flat-bread today and it was really really delicious (maybe they should start market for sandwich eaters rather than coffee drinkers...just saying) and I'm looking forward to coming back another day to try more from their range, maybe something sweet. The downstairs is big, bright and airy. The food counter is massive and you're spoilt for choice, though they do have more sweet than savoury stuff. Which I guess makes sense. The upstairs is much smaller but not cramped, it has a large sofa and some individual tables and armchairs, as well as some nice local art on the walls. It was a bit too hot though, despite the air con being turned on. But I guess that's an issue they have probably two weeks out of 52 per year. Only disappointing bit was the price: we paid £15 for two sandwiches (albeit big and yummy) and two small cappuccinos. Am I being cheap or is that a tad too much for what is is? Either way, lovely spot and will be definitely coming back!

There was a fair selection of cakes and biscuits on offer and some delicious looking sandwiches, including small rolls for children, something lacking in many other coffee shops! My son and I managed to bag a seat on the sofa by the window and got snuggled and cosy to while away half an hour. Unfortunately, I did notice the seat next to me and the floor were pretty dirty. It was bright and spacious and we'll definitely return again! Sandwiches are slightly pricey but coffee prices are pretty average, very similar when compared to all other coffee chains.

This cafe has won local awards in Fleet for it's high quality…read more Quite a while ago I went in there and was put off by one of the staff being really pushy and quite rude (no-one in the queue behind me) and not letting me have time to choose what I wanted to eat so I just had a coffee, no food and never went back til yesterday. What a fool I've been, it's great. The hot food looks delicious and fresh and is pretty reasonably priced, we only had a couple of coffees but they were SO much better than Costa's which is my usual favourite. It's great if you can get a window seat and watch the great and the good of Fleet scurry by too. I've only given 3 stars because I've only had coffees there, I may well come back and revise that in weeks to come.

Just like it's older sibling in Stroud Green, this one is definitely part of the hipster family: minimal and rough design; focus on great coffee, free wifi and cool people. The perfect place for me ;-) I came here on Easter Monday and it was not crowded at all. I recognised the owner from the previous location and given that there were not many customers, we had a quick chat. I didn't check if they offer the same menu as at the other place, but if they do, I recommend the omelets...they were tasty!
