The setting is what makes this place so special,
You can sit outside along the street and people watch.
You can go into the entrance hall and enjoy cozy seats with blankets to keep warm and watch everything that's going on inside and out.
You can sit in the historic courtyard and enjoy the architecture.
You can go inside the actual restaurant for a mor conventional experience.
Generally though you must go to the cafe portion and order what your heart desires. Specialty coffees, cold drinks, wine... Cakes, snacks, it changes daily.
There are special events such as live music or poetry readings quite often, so check their website for more info on that. There is an event every day they are open at 5pm. It only lasts half an hour and may be a musical performance or a literary event. Let it be a surprise.
