It's red cup day and people get a little bit crazy so no blame there. He told me he had a bunch of cups left, which is great we were driving from the other end of Montreal having a girls day so decided to pop in as soon as we got there within five minutes, he told us there was never any cups. He doesn't know who we spoke to, and the funny part is my friend was filming me calling the different stores and had his voice on the video so as soon as I showed him, he turned red and said well I don't know why I would say that lol now maybe he was stressed or he forgot not mad at him. I know that's crazy season but just because of that, I'm gonna give them just a three I will definitely go back. I'm not blaming any of them. It's just the experience itself.

We came here around lunch time recently and I wanted some Starbucks coffee and decided to go for their pumpkin spice latte It was weird tasting not going to lie .. tasted very artificial and Tasted very unhealthy in my opinion. I mean I'm not dissing Starbucks, but they are trying way too hard to sway its customers to overpay for coffee and it's not cute! Service: fabulous the barista at the counter was very friendly and made sure to get us everything we wanted. The dining tables were pretty dirty and I was annoyed as most of the tables were free but I did not feel to sit on a dirty table. There was also a bee in the shop which made me very nervous and did not want to get stung! We left the place having to sip on our overpriced coffee in the car bummer ! :p

But, that could be due to the time of my visits. Also, it is pretty messy. While some people do leave their trash in the table( why???), it often stays there for long periods of time... But I do feel like you've got to give a great location their due, and this is a particularly good one. The things that will make a difference between two otherwise identical versions of the same chain are location and staff - this spot rocks both. The location is beautiful and full of light with big comfy chairs, and very helpfully located in the ground floor of the Montreal Children's Clinic / Brunswick Medical Centre. The manager here - or the woman I assume to be the manager based on how everyone else working asks her questions and refers to her expertise - is one of those people who exudes competence. Super friendly and kind vibes, works a busy line fast without making people feel rushed. In a small way she's made my day better on several occasions when I was at this building for stressful sick kid stuff, so I hope she reads this!
