    Chan - Salvadoran drink
    Joselyn M.

One of the best pupusa spots in the area for Boston. I always go for the cheese and zucchini and some homemade juice from El Salvador known as Chan. If you don't care about service, come here. The food is great. But the waitresses have absolutely no manners and eat while they are working so keep your eye out for that. Also, very small and cold in there. Might as well do take out :) P.s. you're welcome I took some good pics for your Yelp page.

    Horchata!

Place is amazing. Amazing customer service and great vibe. They sell a variety of foods, but if you come here you need to get the pupusas. We always get the mixed ones and the ones with shrimp with an horchata to drink. If I didn't get fat easily, I would come here everyday.

Yuca con chicharon a popular salvadoran food.

The steak was cooked perfectly and it came with everything I was craving. Plus the refried beans, creama, eggs, plantains, chicharron, and warm tortilla--yum! The pupusa was different, as it's made with a different cheese here which the waitress did warn us. Because of this, it wasn't our favorite but still good. Overall this spot is popular in East Boston, I would definitely check it out! Also if you tell them it's your birthday they will sing to you and you get to wear the special hat :)

You might have to walk like 2 blocks or less for a safe parking spot . Just always read the signs before parking .

The Tajin Elote is a total flavor bomb; it was so delicious that we had to order an extra one to take home! The true highlight of the evening was the Enchiladas with Salsa Verde and Mole. They taste just as authentic and high quality as the traditional dishes. The bar is extensive, and they offer many high end tequilas/mezcal, and craft cocktails. My Mezcal Paradise cocktail was perfectly balanced. The 4 Leches Cake was rich and creamy; it melts in your mouth! The restaurant has a vibrant and cozy atmosphere, with bright colors to match the lively Latin American theme. They are open late, making it a popular late-night spot. I highly recommend Meatless Mondays, and I can't wait to come back and try more of their vegetarian soy options!

Street parking can be a little tough so you may need to find a spot around the corner. Our order consisted of two pork and cheese pupusas, carne asada quesadilla with a side of fries and a shrimp burrito. Both the burrito and quesadillas are offered with the same fillings including lettuce, pico de Gallo, sour cream, rice, beans, and cheese making a filling meal. We were happy with our orders but I did like her Quesadilla more as it the cheese was properly melted and tortilla had a better crispness to it. In my opinion, the shrimp was simply seasoned and was hoping for more flavor from it. French fries were had the flaky outside with the soft inside, my type of fry. The pupusas were nicely filled and seared on both sides. It was slightly greasy which is why I always love pairing it was the traditional cabbage salad and red sauce on the side.
