I asked how to tip him and there was clearly no pre-defined way to do this - guess it was just part of the ambiance? Anyway, he was delightful so extra star for that. :) Other than that - just a good solid place to go in Leiman for massive amounts of German foods and cakes. Recommended if you are in the area!

They had an extensive range of specials for starters, mains and deserts. We went as a group of four and walked in off the street without a reservation. You might not get away with that when they are busy as later in the evening it filled up quite quickly. Service was good, food was excellent and would be more than happy to go there again.

The new location is in the middle of okd town Leimen. This lends it a very pleasant atmosphere. The Sunday buffet was wonderful and the price included as many coffees as you wanted, scrambled eggs and their lovely buffet. Quite a hidden jewel in the small back streets of old town Leimen.
