I think I'll resist the temptation for now, but understand that this establishment serves some excellent food, and the main reason I'm not going all out yet is that they are also somewhat pricey. For lunch there are two alternatives for 12 € and a few more for 15 €. The 12 € alternatives are the better deal, as they include a lot of extras, making it a really complete meal, but the udon with Spanish pork that I had for 15 € was really delicious. For the evening visit we had the pleasure of trying a very good sake from their wide selection. The dinner dishes were nothing short of great (I had black cod), and a really nice touch was that when they didn't have the high-end Japanese whisky that I ordered, they offered up the second-best whisky for free. That's classy. They don't have sushi on the main menu, so if that is what you're craving this may not be the right place for the day, but if you want some other really good Japanese food, this is an excellent alternative in downtown Munich. Oh what the hey, as I think back, this is a five stars restaurant. Please enjoy.

My girlfriend and I walked by at around 21:30, granted it was a bit late for dinner but it was a…read morefriday night there were still people outside eating. We looked at the menu and thought we would try it out (she really wanted the cordon bleu!). Since the only table outside was still dirty we walked inside to try and find someone to see if it was still occupied. The waitress walked by us so fast without asking if we needed help that i thought she was actually a patron. We followed her outside and saw she was really a waitress and asked if we could sit in the corner. So we helped her clear the table from the previous guests and then she disappeared. 5 minutes later she returned and all she could say was "What do you want". really??? how about a freaking menu?!?! When we asked she then told us they were not serving food anymore that night.... on a friday night.... Gee, thanks for telling us 15 minutes ago. Would NOT recommend and will NOT return. Its called 50/50 for a reason! Its a tossup on whether it is worth it or not!
