I remember well: distinctive and knowledgeable music selections, regular, local visitors who knew each other well but welcomed newcomers and a large selection of interesting infusions.

El Pimiento was a recommendation by our Air BNB host who has been living locally for a few years…read morenow. The place is small, the atmosphere is cheery, and the food is amazing! Hopefully writing this review in English will help some of the yelp dependent travelers (like myself). The wine selection at El Pimiento is better than most of the places I have been in Sevilla and the wine is dirt cheap by US standards! In fact, the whole meal (4 tapas and 2 glasses of wine - enough to feed two adults who have been on their feet all day) was €21 before a not required 10% tip. Nobody really speaks english and half of the menu words did not pop up in Google translate, but everything that we ordered was perfect. Ceviche with lobster was blended perfectly in the vinegrette, the goat cheese bread and jam absolutely surpassed my expecations, and the pork and chicken dishes pushed this review to the 5 star mark. In short, El Pimiento is only 150 feet from the main touristy restaurants but is so much better than anything else I have found here thus far. I get on yelp to find food that is 20%+ better for 20% less cost, and this place fits the criteria!!

Se celebran cumpleaños con un menú muy variado y una atención personalizad. Tiene un menú para almorzar a precio único (7,5€) de lunes a viernes. La carta de vino se basa en bodegas andaluzas. Entre las tapas destaca entre los clientes el pollo barnizado sin desmerecer el pochado de huevos o el papilote de salmón. Maravillosas las ensaladas (muy caseras). Nuevas tapas que van poco a poco entrando entre el público como la hamburguesita de pollo, las albondigas o el ceviche de langostinos. Puedes acabar con copa y postre. Existen tanto tapas fuera de carta como vinos del mes. En invierno es muy cálido y en verano está fresquísimo.
